Waste of our money, facebook ads are probably the most overpriced spots on the web.

Bitcoin price vs fiat is going to rise exponentially over the next couple decades, the devil is in the details. Personally I could care less if the mainstream adopts BTC this decade due to a mass advertising campaign, or thirty years from now due to necessity. I'm not going to spend any of my wealth to force the issue.

Spoken like a true miser Grin  But I agree, facebook ads are not only expensive, they go entirely unnoticed.

Plus, I closed mine the moment I realized they were selling my face for ad space.  I don't think I'm alone there.

facebook ads cost a ton, and they don't work, its why all the major advertisers pulled out.

I'm not a rich bitcoiner, having learned about it only late in 2012, and not having much invested even then.

But .. maybe there's some rich early bitcoiners out there who can afford to do something like,

Make a facebook page, make a bitcoin advertisement/posts, and maybe advertise it from time to time.

I dunno, worth it? Or just let people find out other ways?

Maybe someone might want to start a 'bitcoin advertising charity' to fund something like this?

One of those 'crazy' ideas Cheesy or is it ...
