Facebook has no chance

The Facebook coin will as I understand it be a stable coin, I think a lot of people will have more trust in Facebook than all the other stable coins like Tether (USDT)
The Facebook coin can also get a lot of new people involved in crypto. I see a lot of use cases.

I will probably use it but still treat it as any other fiat currency with censorship, government regulations,  freezing/seizing of fund etc.. My main fund will definitely be held in a decentralized coin with my private keys under my control.

I am looking at Facebook's GlobalCoin with both eyes open for possibilities yet cautious for its potential. Well, we still don't have the clear and full picture of this platform more than its name. It seems to be seen how things will turn out for this Facebook venture. But one thing for sure: Facebook and the people behind this cryptocurrency will do everything they can to make it a grand success but how the market will respond that is something we are excitedly watching.

I will not buy a single Facebook coin, this will be super centralized and will be the opposite of what Bitcoin stands for.  I barely even use Facebook anymore, they are not a trustworthy company and they will permanenty keep your data even if you delete your profile.  They are also working with the government to give up all your private info.

Facebook has no chance

It Does. The reason for it? Billions of Dollars by Suckerberg would ensure it's survival. It could rival BTC

Yes, of course. Don't let no man forget that Facebook and its other social media sites stand for billions of dollars of revenue sales per year. This is a machine of money and Facebook can easily attract investors into its side. Investors will be joining this project like the flies to the dead meat. With Mark's Midas touch I am sure this can be big but we don't have to worry since this will not rival nor kill bitcoin. Yes, if I have some money and if the crowdfunding is done, I will buy some because I can use it for Facebook ads anyway.

I read today it will be called Globalcoin and be pegged 1-1 against the usd.  I guess it will help those who has no access to banking.

Facebook just had a meeting with the Winklevoss  twins regarding facebook Crypto.  If facebook launches a crypto of it's own will you jump onboard?
