This. It is a great benefit if people choose to use it. The ability to have many address' always meant to me that you have public ones and private ones.

Then just click Deny Application. Besides, all you really have to do is stop using Facebook, which is something you should do if you care about anonymity Cheesy

If I port the BTC Economy Plugin (demo, wiki) as a Facebook App, would you guys consider using it? The plugin was written to answer the question of what can someone buy with a bitcoin.

Maybe instead of using Google to authenticate, Facebook could be used for http://freebitcoins.appspot.com/

I can't see the public being happy with that.

An idea - create a facebook group/page/whatever which contains information about Bitcoin for beginners and every person who "likes" it gets a free bitcoin (well, 0.0001 BTC or something minuscule) sent to an instawallet. Facebook folks love getting something "free" and I can imagine it being a useful way to spread the message. Thoughts?
