Those are just another news to create more hype around Libra. Libra will be launched and I am sure that it will happen during the next months, because the market is just perfect for such a massive coin. It is just too big to fail.

seem to sure about its launch when in fact the government stopped them. it looks like those in the government are just stopping all these development to delay what could happen in crypto. this is the only project where the government directly interfere with before the developers had even tried launching.

If Libra can't come out in 2020. I think the cryptocurrency market may collapse like 2018. Or even worse, I hope libra will launch in 2020 and not be delayed.

If the founders of Libra had been less known, it would have been a different case but allowing Libra to launch is basically like the world government giving a green light to all Cryptocurrencies and they are not willing to do that yet, I expected this amount of scrutiny though.
Facebook is founder of Libra, in general, and Mark Zuckerberg in particular. Nevertheless, the role of Libra in crypto market finished, after it boosted the crypto market in April and May this year, then bitcoin took advantages of positive things around Libra, and rocketed to nearly $14000. In months to come, I will wait for more fresh things, beyond Libra, to see Bitcoin keep moving up. For Libra, in particular, I don't understand why people over FOMO about that stable coin, which probably won't give them any kind of benefits from investment.

Facebook told its investors in its latest quarterly report that — while the firm expects to launch Libra next year — some factors could prevent its release. Iin the risk factors section of the document, the company admits that it recognizes the significance of the pushback shown by regulators towards Libra.

Yes, even though this coin has a delay in the release of the coin, I believe this coin will be able to become something great. because I believe this delay is done for the good of libra and investors.

You should go the the next store and get a gift card, its truly a great investment.
Stablecoins are digital gift cards.

The world is in a serious  mess, actually scary.

I don't think you're following the news. Many regulators don't really want Libra to appear. We can think for a long time, predict and hope for a miracle, but if the regulators are really against Libra then no miracle will help Facebook.

What @#Darren said is something other projects usually do and that makes sense.

And according to @salty, it's also true that many regulators don't want Libra to be present in crypto. Because it can threaten them. It is also possible that the launch of the Libra launch was a number of factors that caused this.

All these are just for the public awareness so that people can know what they are doing. Same as Walmart trying to create their coin too. I believe these two giants coming in would help crypto get more adoption than before

Depends but for sure Libra team is trying to push it up and trying to make it through the market but its still debatable yet government do see its potential risk.
They don't like for FB to become somewhat dominant but lets see on upcoming months if this one will able to succeed or would just stay up on paper.

This looks like a big fud. Too much of expectations on Libra. Not sure whether this would be really successful. We have to wait and see.

They are just creating awareness about the coin I believe that Libra coin is gonna launch , irrespective of the FUD,  it seems that they know the potential of Libra coin that's why there are lots of FUD news about it

Libra is a proposed stablecoin   (pegged to USD+Euro+other fiat+and digital assests)
A stablecoin is nothing else as a digital gift card
potential of a (digital) gift card?
Shops have been using gift cards for ages.

I think it's just the news that FUD, a leading global company like Facebook, prepares a big project like Libra, there is no reason why they can cancel their project. We can see the media's interest for them is great, and the crypto world is very welcome to Libra.

I can understand the kind of pressure that the Libra project has just undergone when it entered the nest of the realtors and those regulators were not pleased with the prospect of influence that Libra can have on the global economic order. Right or wrong, they painted a negative picture as far as Libra is concerned and it is not helping in anyway that it is lead by Facebook. There is then a big possibility that the project can be temporarily shelved so as not to anger people especially those who are holding powers.

LIBRA is likely to become one of the best stablecoins. this is due to the support of huge institutional investors. I think these large corporations will not let Facebook fail.

Good and Bad Stablecoins? ?

JPMorgan coin, Good or Bad?
Walmart Good or Bad?
Libra, Good or Bad (Oh its already good)
Amazon Good or Bad?

Personally i do not like this approach from facebooks administration as it sounds like loosing strategy, they are coming up with a decentralized, blockchain based coin i think they should be bold and clear about everything and they should confidently tell public that they will release it according to plan and no pressure will be taken and those issues will be resolved by their legal and compliance team. They should sound professional and this statement of theirs does not sound good to me.

I don't understand the significance of Libra, when we already have dozens of different digital versions of the US Dollar. Libra will be another addition to this long list, which comprises of Paypal and Visa. It won't be having an exchange rate of its own, and it won't be a decentralized currency like the Bitcoin. Libra is cryptocurrency only in name. It is more of a fiat currency in crypto clothing.

You have to consider the fact that facebook are facing a lot of problems in US and Europe, people and governments are not happy with how facebook control and use our data, so it's a predictable movement to stop Libra and analyze the impacts of this coin

It died just like that, I'm surprised that Facebook easily give up on this, we never know if they are still planning to launch in the future because they have an initial study or planning about their coin, they will just take it up again, we must remember a different administration of US government can bring different results.

I'm interested to know on what's the coin where Libra's whitepaper has been copied. They are struggling because the government is stopping them and already invited them to the senate.
I don't like Libra as much as possible but this could just another stunt to get the mass' attention.
