I withdraw eth from my hotbit account to my coinsph account, my withdraw from hotbit was succesfull but it failed coz it is out of gas
Excuse me kabayan ( I supposed you're a Filipino too), can you please more clarify the part when you said that your withdrawal was successful but failed, I'm confused. And what do you mean by out of gas? You mean internet connection error?
Ethereum needs its own forum so people don't have to come to a Bitcoin forum for tech support.
No, I think this forum is for all crypto enthusiasts and not only for bitcoin lovers. What's is wrong here is only that OP posted on the wrong board Cheesy.

Due to the fact that you didn't have the sufficient gas to complete your transaction, your transaction failed, as miners cannot complete your transaction without the sufficient gas required, but it's nothing to worry about as your ETH would still remain in your original wallet as the gas was inadequate to complete your transaction. Try tracing the eth through etherscan, and you'll find out its still there.

But note that the gas used up for the failed transactions would not be returned back to you, it'll be kept by the miners.

I withdraw eth from my hotbit account to my coinsph account, my withdraw from hotbit was succesfull but it failed coz it is out of gas, and now my eth isn't on my hotbit account or coinsph wallet. I just want to know what will happen to my eth if the transaction fails.

Its been hours, it is already a failed transaction but my eth didn't go back to my hotbit account. Hope you could help me on this matter. Thanks very much.
