By the way, these 5 Ethereum that were received by scammers were not returned in 2 times the amount to those who sent them.
It's normal what actually we expect from these scams. we can not expect that the scammers will send anything to those people who had sent eth. But it's not sure that the 5 ETHs has actually come from the victim people or the scammer sent it to make people fool so that they can think someone already does this.
But I am not sure that the 5 ETH is from someone who has been scammed and what is clear is that this is a trap with 5 ETH bait. This is so funny that they put up but forgot to return the funds that were sent even though it says double refund.
Ah never mind this. Surely no one will become a victim after seeing this, people will be more observant if there is a fake giveway like this.

Scammers often deposit ETHs at those addresses to show that they are trustworthy. But we don't have to look at it simply, because it may be that the deposit was actually made by a victim. Since there are many new investors in the market now, it is not unrealistic for them to make such a wrong decision.

Considering everything, everyone has to warn the new investors.

With 5 ETH in the scamer's wallet, is this really a victim or is it just my trap so that people will trust more with this fake giveaway?

I'm sure it was all a trap and no casualties so I think everyone already knows that this crazy Giveaway is not legal.
In most cases they make some transaction by their own to make everyone believe that they are keeping their promises. Still many crypto user exit who believe that free airdrop is the mot easier way of collecting tokens. Even some of them check transactions list on frontend to justify the legality of the the project.

In the Wake of the hype associated with the launch of the Ethereum-2 network, scammers are trying to get Ethereum from inexperienced investors. Scammers offer to double your coins in just 24 hours, which is a typical Ponzi scheme.
Exactly,,, I was expecting something like that on the eve of launching Ethereum 2.0 and finally got one here. Like always this kinda giveaway and airdrop related scammers get more active when any event is going on.

I also think that way, that's how scammers works they deposit funds to wallets to make it appear that people are depositing and they even show transaction record that they are sending tokens to those participants, I hope that no one will post that they deposited to that address, because that means they are not doing their research and they are uneducated.

This tweet suggests that scammers are changing wallets:
