Guys stay away from scammers and don't be greedy.

It's easy to register a token especially if they are opensource or their publicity is so wide that some scammers could use their ideas/name of project to be registered in a certain token exchange. But still, is there really people that trusts tokens nowadays? I thought bounties and projects are already dead back then, after a lot of scammers had been scamming huge investors with their fradulent projects. Even DeFi projects can have the same. And Uniswap for a token exchange? Better wait for a token to be listed on trusted exchanges or just wait for the volume to increase, than to lose.

From this, we can say already that this is totally faked. I wonder how many users have been fooled by the uniswap version. Damn that dex has been abused by a lot of scammers. I hope uniswap can make some restrictions or way to prevent scammers with this approach.

Actually some of those scammed people are not actually noob but they are just betting their way to earn profits on scam. They knew at the beginning that the project could be a scam but they often bet some money on it provided that a certain pump will happened due to hype.

Not "only" but one of the things and I've already said the other things we can do. I would not underestimate people's ignorance and gullibility. It is very easy to place a fake token on Uniswap. And the only way to determine this was to check the contract. But since Bella Protocol has not published it yet, it will not be possible to verify the authenticity of BEL. By the way, scammers offer their fake Bel token on Uniswap at a price of $0.0087, while the price of the initial placement on the Binance is $0.75. I am sure that many will be deceived by scammers who use hype around Launchpool on Binance.

This is to be expected. The launchpool was launched today and now there are fake bella token roaming around uniswap. I always noticed how those projects trying to camouflage on the actual project while still run.

I remember other projects which has a lot of uniswap pools and trading but the project even launched yet their own contract.

How easy it is to create a token on top of the ethereum blockchain is both good and bad. Scammers are definitely taking advantage of the upcoming Bella hype which will be traded on BSwap.

One thing we can do as a community is report them to sites like https://cryptoscamdb.org/report or leave a comment on etherscan. I know etherescan also puts a label on tokens used in phishing scams. It would be great to see them tag copycats by putting something like "fake version of token xxx" warning too.
