Really so pitying you so we should always all do a radical analysis and research before we work  binance Many popular and speculative sites  but the scam has spread such a lot that the site's alternate settings are barring. we should always all act with caution not just for the newcomers but also for the elderly who are often trapped by these traitors the danger is going to be much lower.

I unfortunately have also fallen victim to this scam and have lost 0.02 BTC this past weekend. It is quite sad as it took me a long time to gather that much bitcoin. But i will admit that it is my fault at the end of the day for not doing the proper research and for being gullible. However, i am a newbie in bitcoin, and so I guess this is how we all learn at the end of the day.

There are too many multi-level virtual currency models on the market.
Indeed, these forms of investment generate large profits in the short term.
Therefore, if you do not understand, you will be deceived.

Yes the coin is made in such a way that it looks exactly like every coin But for those who are old-fashioned it's much easier to catch up The victims are particularly deceived by the newcomers That's why we should all be careful before doing business.

This ^. Unfortunately crypto is still kinda like the wild west. Yes you can make a ton of money in crypto, but in the end there's so many scams that it's easy to lose money too

fraud like this I usually see in service companies there is no permit, in the form of a variety of ways. some do raise money and some gather people to be able to get certain prizes. in a way like a pyramid system, each participant must find another participant and the first participant will be the recipient of a prize when it has been collected, several participants are registered by him or the order below. but now it has penetrated into crypto, and this is an extraordinarily clever fraud.

Hahaha. I can't argue with that.

But with the giveaway, this is driving many newbies to the wrong way. And with a very fine logic, there's no overnight success whether it will be from crypto, stocks, and whatsoever any legit investments that we know.

And majority of these investors that wants an overnight success, they'll always bite whatever scam scheme these scammers will make.

I saw this fake giveaway the past week, is a new scheme who is getting lots of coins. The wired part about it was the verified Binance account on youtube they used to start this scam. I think they are using more than 5 different channels to promote this scam.

We only can report the youtube channels, there is not much to do from our side.

Before we work on every site we should practice well Now the official site is scammed almost due to the risk of investing without the proper information Many good site formations fake sites will never be the same as the original so you need to choose a good test before investing. The decision is yours but the newcomers are more likely to come later.

This send me this and I'll send you that scam.

Why people still doesn't learn from the past? this has been an obvious scam years ago and yet there are still greedy people that fall for this.
most of the victims are those who is not actively following scams issues that is why they are becoming victim as well, that is why we need mo information campaign for these people prevented from becoming a target.
Most of them are probably newbie in the crypto world that's why they are being ended up as a victim by these known scams.

These scammers always take advantage of those lack of knowledge about crypto. And those newbies think that the way to earn crypto is like that.

Better edit the title into "Fake giveaway-Binance" or something more detailed which describes the issue.Because when people read this topic they will think this is just a troll post about Binance.

And its really need to be moved somewhere like Beginner &Help or in scam accusation to help people.

Edited the title as advised. I posted it here because more people come than in scam accusation subforum.

They really have the nerves to scam people in the daylight! I feel pity for people who sent them funds without knowing that this is a pure scam! I've checked the link and thank God Youtube already removed it but I am sure they'll just keep making videos like this and scam more.

These scammers will never rest most especially on telegram, they devise all means to rob people of their hard earned funds, the most common one now is a malware file they send to you on telegram which hacks your phone whenever clicked upon, so pathetic some people have become victims.
Thanks for the alert!

Hope it becomes possible in Crypto future to quickly freeze money made through easy-to-prove scams like this (assuming it's really scam) and return the coins to their owners.
I think scams like that will probably be handled better in well decentralized community.
Including the feature in decentralized systems will help discourage  people from attempting that kind of scam

There are lots of videos on youtube about exchanges and bonuses.
But you should check who has done it, need official information from the project (exchange) to draw conclusions. New people, or even non-investors in this market, when they saw super-profitable ways to make money, they got involved.

They made $4k out of that  Cheesy

Not necessarily, this could simply be them moving btc/eth from one address to another, to look as if people are actually participating in that "giveaway". I don't think they can even make a $100 out of this. It's that bad of a scam.

They even have a blog/website using the exact same addresses:

Code:
https://telegra.ph/Latest-News-on-Binance--Bitcoin--Ethereum-02-15

http://archive.fo/0acr6

@OP, ill second what semobo said, move this thread to Scam Accusation board: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0

I think you really have to be careful with those things, no legitimate giveaway will ever ask you to "donate" to an address.

Nicely enough it was taken down.

Hey, Vsauce. Michael here. Here's an idea: a subcategory made specifically to denounce scams? For faucets, YouTube videos, pyramid schemes, etc. That would be pretty good for newbies and veterans alike - no more need for "Is x a scam?" because it would probably be easily found in that subcategory.

There are many live streams on youtube that claim that they are Binance.
All of them are scams. Binance never made any giveaway via Youtube. Also, who will believe that they are doing a giveaway of 10,000 BTC? This is a hell of money for a giveaway.

I found this live video. PLEASE REPORT TO AVOID MORE PEOPLE BEING SCAMMED

https://youtu.be/je1vflD429Y

They are impersonating binance in a live and asking people to send money (ether or bitcoin) but it's a scam.

The ethereum address of the scammer already received $1k in past 10 hours 0x5a167ca0b70482bae7004b3a7cc216af7149abcb

Thank you such a lot for warning us  In fact  many good sites do of these things to form reputations worse than many reliable ones. But we should always all take care  We all got to report for this elusive one and a half  Then they're going to refrain from doing such activities.
