This is not just limited to ledger. It's also quite a big issue when it comes to fake crypto exchange giveaways and things of that sort.

These are quite easy to spot though, because usually what they all entail is asking the victim to send them a sum of money and/or provide their private keys to enter the giveaway.

Anyone who is using their common sense will be able to avoid these with ease. It's inexperienced newbies with too much greed that fall for these, generally speaking.
It's an issue that we need to be aware of but still people don't acquire a knowledge of their own experiences, which is also the reason behind why their funds and assets are in peril  because they are not thinking the possible results before settling on a choice. The majority of them doesn't even bother doing their own exploration and studies that is the reason why they wind up falling into a similar circumstance. Their covetousness change their mentalities with regards to gaining profits, they are just thinking the advantages they may get however they don't dissect and acknowledge whether it's genuine and worthy. They don't see how tricksters will accept that open door to hoodwink them and make them trust their sweet lies.

The activity of these scammers has increased for the past month or two, they are also trying to scam under the guise of famous personalities or popular exchanges, such as Elon Musk, CZ of Binance or a Japanese Billionaire Yusaku Maezawa who is going to fly to the Moon.

A youtube channel is live and asking people to join giveaway to get upto 2000 BTC, they are claiming themselves as Ledger. And ledger has started web wallet ledgerweb.io which is brutal scam. They are asking for importing seed key to the web wallet to receive the reward. This is a scam. If you import the seed key, your wallet will be compromised. Don't get yourself scammed.
