Anyway, your archived link contains my telegram id and today quite a few people have been adding me requesting for this service because they saw this thread. Guess you didnt think it through before posting it. I decided to stop and you guys are fueling it with sig spams lol.
That is good to know.

Easiest solution for this is to request video or pictures taken from different angles. Some people think it is wrong to ask it before investing but they probably don't know that they have right to request anything they want to know about project, team which fail to provide any kind of information will raise one big red flag.

In any case, if someone wants to buy fake photos, then this is a red flag, signaling fraud. We will catch them on the purchased photos, as well as on any other promotions.

I removed my services minutes after posting it , it's not because of this thread. Might have made a rash decision but i've decided to instead make a thread soon on how it can be obtained. It has nothing to do with hacked database or anything illegal. Might open the eyes of the people here into not trusting ico's with team pictures which cant be reverse looked up. Doesn't mean their project is legit just because the pics don't exist online.

It doesn't matter you removed your service or not but its a good sign that you understand what is allowed here on the forum. Its simple that if you offer any illegal service then it will attract other illegal activists. Thats the reason why you got several clients on your telegram IMO.

Well he's been tagged and deservedly so.
But yeah I agree there's not much you can do here. Banning him wouldn't do much either, he can easily create another account and re-post his shit if he wants to.
Best way to do is convince them even though there's a very little chance that their decision will change. These people do this for money and not for integrity or reputation that is why they are not afraid if they got tagged or not.

If plagiarism offenders are banned, I wonder why scammers who usually do a lot more damage are spared.
See the following quote from mprep's Unofficial Rules thread:
Q: Why haven't you banned who is an obvious scammer?
A: Possible (or real, not for me to decide) scams are not moderated to prevent moderator abuse. If we start picking out which ones we call "scammers" and ban, we would make a lot of decisions based on biased opinions.

It would also give off an illusion of safety. If there was a culture of banning scams, then users may operate under the false assumption that any offer or service they come across on this forum is legit, when in fact it could simply be a scam which hadn't been caught yet. Not to mention there just simply isn't enough moderator time to examine the evidence for every scam accusation.

฿itcoin for all, All for ฿itcoin.
I think even after getting them tagged, scammers who have been proved to have done the act beyond reasonable doubt should get nuked or banned.

Obviously what he is doing is wrong but what exactly do you think tagging this guy will achieve?
Exactly tagging him won't achieve anything, he had broadcasted his message already and his account is probably being flocked by private messages right now. Even though he got tagged from the illegal shit he is doing it doesn't prevent his own breed of scammers on being interested in what he is selling. What sickens me to see is that he tried to defend what he is selling by doing a "background check" of his own before he sells them the pictures which I doubt he would really do. What should happen is to block his main mode of communication (private messaging) before other modes of communication such as Telegram be available for others to reach him which sadly I doubt has been done in the history of BCT before.

Tagging this guy isn't the only solution here. If we let him continue his photo selling business then i think its givning someone license to do fraudlent activities in the forum. It doesn't matter he tagged or not but its going to visible on others users eye that this kinda activities are not allowed here.

Hello Everyone,

I found an user on our forum who is selling fake team members photo for ICO. Which is completely illegal in my opinion. Waiting to see others opinion.

Thread link: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/--5116264

Archive link: http://archive.is/N2QeR

Profile link: https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/icoteampics-2555843

Its really surprising that where we trying our best to detect fake ICO team members to stop scam but this user is selling fake team photo. Its nothing but encouraging ICO scammers to commit another scam IMO.

Where will he find those photographs? I think he will steal it from another peoples identity or from any hacked database. I hope DT members will put their attention on this case soon.
