They have only a web wallet [...]

Not a web wallet, but a web interface.

The wallet still is the trezor itself (as a hardware wallet). You are just using a web application to communicate with it.
Instead of creating multiple stand-alone applications (depending on OS / versions), they decided to create a single web application running on their server (for easier maintenance).

The worst thing is that Trezor doesn't even have an app as far as I know like Ledger with the Ledger Live  Huh
They have only a web wallet from what I read in the past. Good thing is that the app on Play Store has bad ratings and people tend to look more on the ratings than anything else unfortunately.

Decided to fire up the Android emulator and check this out... seems like it is a "re-badged" wallet app that they're trying to disguise as being a "Trezor" app.

This is the icon that it uses:

This is the splash screen when you start it up:

And the wallet app after "registering":

A bit of digging on Google and I found this: https://codecanyon.net/item/coinwallet-cryptocurrency-android-wallet-app/21561271

Seems you can just "buy" the template and create your own wallet app Undecided

For the record, the app is pretty broken and doesn't really work very well... after trying to copy the address to the clipboard... it seems to put the username into the clipboard??!? Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Tongue

There are many fake wallets out there alive on google and every time I see some fake wallet I reported them in google.

Anyway, I already reported this app on google and hope Google will take action as soon as possible before someone hit with this fake trezor wallet.

Just adding this if someone found this post active wallets that Trezor currenlty supported are listed here https://wiki.trezor.io/Apps#Active_wallets

Just came across this and wanted to share. There is a fake Trezor App on Google Play Store.

This has been confirmed as fake by Trezor and has already been reported. Hopefully, it gets taken offline soon.
https://www.reddit.com/r/TREZOR/comments/bnqhfi/is_the_android_app_trezor_mobile_wallet_fake/

Serves as a good reminder, when in doubt about the authenticity of something, just ask a provider's official channel. Can save alot of subsequent headaches.

Stay safe
