Here is another pushing domain (Don't click)
Code:
https://trust-shiba.art
The scammer has been using the same script as usual by changing the domain name. During browse Facebook, today discover this phishing site where scammers asking for seed phrase clearly. Guys, please don't be greedy and save your funds. Sharing your wallet credentials with a third party means you are going to lose everything that belong to that wallet.
Scammers who use phising method always do that and people must be aware that this kind of attempts keeps happening thats why its really good to research first and if the platform same like this will ask our seed phrase we better back off since for sure they will hack or scam us instantly once they get our important seed. And its really better to spend some time verifying it to the real support of the site if the one you grab is legitimate since safety is the most important thing here.

They will not stop doing this so never enter your phrase into suspicious sites and verify first which sites are official and which are fake.

I'll keep updating if I find again with a new domain.

Xyz used to be the cheapest domain it's mainly used by Ponzi and MLM operators a wallet will not and should not use this domain name

But some greedy man who are looking for a bucks for free don't care what the domain name is used to making the giveaways. xyz domain is not only very cheap but also some domain provider give them as free.  Grin

btw the site maybe down already, I can not access it anymore. Some bad dishonest people are taking the advantage of boosting feature in Facebook to promote there scam trap. in this modern world if people don't care to keep secure in internet then we can not do anything tbh.
If I'm not mistaken the price of the xyz domain is $ 1 I used to buy it for a site to create crypto article content, but that's how greedy they continue to be blind with many domains that are used every time they change the site with a new domain, maybe it's not how much capital but they definitely have more stock if their phishing site is found out it will be changed again and this is what they always do.
They promote with a sponsored page, is it paid with Facebook?
I see now a lot of scammers who do this to trick them with their tricks.

When I first see your topic I thought it's another fake app on playstore but it's a website lol, who dares trust xyz websites? They are used by those who can't even afford a good domain anyways thanks for sharing this will be useful for newbies who are always in rush

Xyz used to be the cheapest domain it's mainly used by Ponzi and MLM operators a wallet will not and should not use this domain name it's not even a top-level domain, and if it's all about a wallet, you should bookmark it, bookmarking the home page and the login page is the surest way that you are landing on the right page.
I highly recommend that you get a hardware wallet or a desktop version it's more safer and tested.

When I opened Facebook I found another trust wallet with SHIBA INU giveaway and they have changed again with a new domain and still the trick with the same scheme.
I was about to update it and notice you already did it. Just now I notice when browsing Facebook, scammers advertising it on Facebook again with the same script just changing the domain name. We need to be careful more and make more awareness, so newbies would save their assets. By the way, thanks for sharing it with the community.

I don't believe that someone is entirely void of knowledge about this kind of things as it is already circulating on the Internet and they have probably heard of it some place somewhere at some point in their life, also people should've evolved into being more cautious online right now.

New people are coming to crypto every day, and their number is constantly increasing. Think about it. If only a small fraction of those who are coming to the crypto market have no idea about such scams and they are trying to take different opportunities. So the question is how many people can be victims of scams.

There are many people who jump into Google and Facebook ads without doing any kind of detailed research. So these kinds of websites are very dangerous for newbie.

I don't get how people fall for this because there are warnings when you create your seed phrase that you can't share it to others. I did reported the website just for good measures, this kind of thing is what people should be wary of because besides looking legitimate, they are advertised on social media platform which makes them much more credible for newbies.
Most likely newbies will fall for it especially if they don't know the real address of the site or they carelessly trust someone without doing a thorough research. Some people who are new to the crypto currency market will be rushing to put it without knowing the risk of what they are doing.

A typical scam/phishing site like this are all over the social medias nowadays. I hope people or google or not just google but other search engines too should do something about it if it is present on their ads. Hacking and scamming are rampant especially when Bitcoin is in the bull market now.

I saw many newbies using that wallet. Therefore, it is easy to scam them and convince them that this wallet is real, especially the one that carries the .uk site.

Google has changed its rules, so this is just the beginning.

I don't think Google will be serious about fighting this type of fraud unless there is legislation from the United States or many people who have lost their money sue Google or stop using the search engine.
It is unfortunate that Google supports this type of fraud, but things will change in the future as the number of users increases.

I think it was better when Facebook hadn't allowed cryptocurrency ads. Then it wasn't easy to reach cryptocurrency users. But lately seems Facebook hasn't any restrictions on cryptocurrency ads, doesn't matter it's a scam or phishing site since AI couldn't detect it. Now scammer could reach cryptocurrency users easily through Facebook ads. Often I have been seeing fake cryptocurrency ads on Facebook. Surprisingly Facebook doesn't take any action against them although I report it. The only way to avoid this scam just don't be greedy.

It's almost the same case what I found last august about TrustWallet asking Phrase/Seed to run their Giveaway, so I think they keep running on social media especially in the created page and this is definitely controlled by my people and keeps changing in the domain they created to trick them therefore their tricks are almost the same, but still we have to give awareness to beginners who don't know anything in crypto.
But I'm glad you share it here, of course there is a little awareness from them or other beginners not to be careless in providing a phrase/seed.

Remember Trustwallet is only available for android/IOS app not available on web.

This is not new phisshy scam where hackers have tried to use the similar domain name to the original website or wallets to fool people with little change in the domain but it's completely scam that's the main point of difference. You enter your seed phrase or private keys in hope of getting free tokens even shitcoins that dont have any utility in future and are prone to fund loss and seed phrase compromisation. You are eventually directed to click on false link or enter some of the wallet details and boom the funds are lost as they gain access to your btc or any other crypto you are holding. Most commonly they use same interface and register their domain with false information and sites usually don't have SSL certificate to ensure safety. So first have a complete check before filing such details or I would say don't ever try to get something free offered online that you would not get but also loose what you own. This is crypto market where hackers have more ways to fool you.

You have to ask yourself why someone is doing things like this, and that is certainly not because they have extra time that they wants to use somehow. These people do things like this because they can effectively hide using all available methods of hiding their online identity, and because there will always be at least one big fish that will bite on their hook.

This means that if they manage to scam only one person who has at least 1 BTC in their crypto wallet, they have made big money - especially if they live in some third world countries. Unfortunately, there are a lot of people who invest in cryptocurrencies, and at the same time have very little knowledge about them - it is very easy to scam them.

This type of scammer is going to go hungry for a long period of time because no one is going to fall for that trick, it's easier to go to trust wallet official website through Google search and it's easier to just go on playstore to download trust wallet

seeing that trust wallet has a warning regarding sharing your seed phrase, I wouldn't feel bad to anyone that fell for this half-assed planned scam attempt. it is just sad that a company like Facebook is allowing this kind of scam to further ruin its platform. Nice find btw. I also reported the page. not sure if anything will happen but did it anyway.

It should be emphasized to newbies that the seed phrase is something that shouldn't be shared to anybody whatever the case is, not to friends, even to family members, and especially not to strangers online. Well, in case of death or permanent mental incapacity, let the family discover it.
I agree they should put more details on the warnings and the danger of sharing your deed phrase with anyone. but to be honest any sane person who has made a wallet from electrum or trust wallet would know that it is a dumb idea to share your seed phrase.

I tried to find out something but couldn't is this new policy is applicable to Google play store service? Cause they seems to be talking about Google ads which is the reason why they said "Advertisers must request new Cryptocurrency Exchanges and Wallets certification with Google when the application form is published on July 8, 2021"

I don't think this particular policy update is also directed at the services offered in Google play store. It is specifically addressed to advertisers.

The facebook post is redirecting to a Google form which also asks you to enter a trust wallet seed. Both the website and the fb page are most likely controlled by the same person but I couldn't find any direct and clear link between them. So good catch op!
The funny thing is that the facebook page was created in 2015, two years before even trust wallet was founded. It also has more than 20k followers so it's definitely a bought page.
I reported it and hope it will be taken down soon.

Newbies have to learn that they should never ever use their seeds to "earn" features of any wallet. That's bait for them and seeds must only be used to recover their wallets and always download from the official website or app.

Google has changed its rules, so this is just the beginning.
