An ad for FanDuel popped up on Reddit recently "Bet $5 get $200 plus 3 weeks of NFL Sunday Ticket from YouTube or YouTubeTV" and it go me wondering if FanDuel accepts bitcoin.  From what I can see, FanDuel accepts bitcoin through BitPay (as well as Draft Kings, which I think merged with FanDuel and BetMGM), or at least they once did..

I also read that "VIP" customers get the "added bonus" of using bitcoin with no price fluctuation.  I was having a hard time getting current info so I re-launched my Fanduel account after years of inactivity and can't find anything on the app about being able to use Bitcoin or Bitcoin via BitPay.  I then went to BitPay's website and saw they have frozen purchases of new BitPay customer accounts/card issuing.  Not sure if this has anything to do with maybe not being able to use it any longer on these sites Huh

So, a lot of murky info at best, and was curious if anyone is or has used BTC/BitPay in conjunction with FanDuel or DraftKings?  I'm just surprised that these gambling outlets don't have more of a connection with bitcoin, or a straight connection (like not having to use BitPay).

This adds yet another reason why I've never been a big fan of Fanduel (have never used Draft Kings or BetMGM).

Any insight is appreciated!

I wonder now if there is an option for using Bitcoin on Hardrock bet app as a Floridian maybe I’ll look into that. Seems like Bitpay has wound down they didn’t have a booth at B23 Miami I wonder if they did at B24 Nashville man I miss that 1oz silver redemption at the booth for being a card holder. I since stopped my card membership with them & I am fairly certain that their stance on new accounts was the same.

Lol you're the only reply to this thread, I figured for sure there would be a few people in the know.  I don't think you ever told me about that 1 oz silver redemption, that's for that bitcoin silver coin that's sold on like apmex right?  Bitpay was a ground breaker early on it bitcoins life, they are the ones who sponsored the Bitcoin Bowl in St Pete (why oh why oh why did I not happen to have gone to that damn game and gotten a mf ticket stub !!!  Cry  ) and has done some other cool "early day" stuff to spread bitcoin awareness.

That Miami conf is like the second biggest in the States outside Nash right, I am def surprised they weren't there.  They seem to always do cool stuff but it's short lived ( the Bitcoin Bowl was supposed to last 3 years straight.  It was just ahead of it's time back in 2014.  Would be more successful today, no doubt).
