I stumbled across this account farming issue, i thought the mods and the few remaining real members may be interested.
It has been a learning curve for me.

Have you reported all 400 accounts i have listed, one by one? Or not because i didn't pm you to ask.
Have the mods seen my thread anyway, and entered into discussion?

Nobody knows how many are now banned, only mods know. Can you find out? (answer, not many)

Sure you could help, a bit, here and there,
If you go after 400 accounts one at a time you will spend your life.
There are xxx hundreds more i have not listed yet. theymos knows.

Do you understand how many/most of the 400 accounts are connected to 1 farmer?
Can you point me to a good poster (or 2) from my list of 400?

So what exactly did you do ? How many accounts from your thread got actually banned? I'm not saying I'm going to launch a mega span warrior campaign against the accounts but would definitely forward the details to global mods and request them to take an action.

Probably my fault, I didn't USE CAPITALS in my title.

The first thing you did when you registered was bid for several other accounts, likely farmed.
You did not link any of the 5 accounts you saw "since yesterday"


In fact, one post every 2 weeks is ideal for the serious farmer. The risk of a post deletion is a minimal time/reward risk.
I have not noticed this "farmed" pattern of "14 post every 2 weeks". Could you link a few accounts, maybe a couple of "the worst" banned accounts?
(i presume there were bans in these worst cases. sounds more like individual spammer than serious farmers?)
Not saying you dont, but I've seen no evidence anywhere on the forum that you understand account farming. (or any other mod/admin)

Of the 400 accounts I have listed on the real farmer thread, they do not "start spamming to rank up", they do exactly the opposite.
They quietly rank up under your radar, then, when they have some rank, they start "spamming". Their "potential rank" is quickly gained.

1.If only you have something plausible to convince mods that the account is being farmed.
2.Don't create a new thread,just message the details to global mods.
3.You can always message me if you have second thoughts about the account is bein farmed or not.

I think same question has been asked many a Times and has beeb answered in details by various members.Account farming is allowed in this forum even selling them is okay as far as forum rules are concerned. The only danger is getting red trust by default trust members and that makes an account useless for signature campaigns

The Boss has spoken. Time to go back to the farm and fire up those alts.

Account farming isn't against the rules nor is posting once or x amount every two weeks. However, making very poor posts is. You can report them either way you want but I would probably concern yourself with your typical two lines of secondstrade spam first.


Maybe they're busy irl too? Making a few posts doesn't magically make you not farming an account though but logging on to make one two or three posts isn't against the rules unless it's spam times whatever amount of accounts you're doing it over. In fact, it's silly only making one post every two weeks because if it gets deleted or the thread gets trashed then you lose that entire 14 potential activity. The farmers that try spam 14 posts every two weeks tend to be the worse though to be honest but it's worth keeping an eye on the one post posters so they don't start spamming to rank up.

As long as there's a market for farmed accounts, account farming will not stop. If the forum will not stop or create a rule against account farming we will continue to see accounts being sold in the marketplace and even in Facebook groups related to Bitcoin. I only see a few trusted members red flagging those who sells and and shows interest in buying accounts.

It won't hurt to report the accounts. The Admins are the only ones who can issue bans. They will consider whether the account is ban worthy.

Farming is ok as long you did not spam. Posting every 2 weeks is very minimal spamming. Why report him? You looks you are one of them lol.

if someone caught an account that is only posting once every 2 weeks just to get potential activity and later be sold in the market, will the MODS ban those account if i report them thru "report to moderator" button or it is better to make a thread for reporting them? i saw around 5 accounts since yesterday
