Agree that it is unnecessary and it just causes troubles to its users.

Don't forget most of the faucet users are newbies who have very limited knowledge in bitcoin. I bet most of them have no idea how to sign a message with their bitcoin addresses.

quickbitco.in faucet asks BTC signature when I go to
CREATE/FORGOT YOUR PASSWORD
What does it mean? Can anyone steal bitcoins knowing signature?

It's maybe to verify that you are the owner of that adress
Asking you that dosen't make sense anyway , why would they care if it's  your BTC Adress or not ... they all need to do is pay

Why faucet want signature? I think that are not necessery for faucet

To sing addy is necessary for pass recover ... you have to prove you are owner of address (and no just somebody who knows your address)

i think that will not be a problem for me if someone using my btc address for receiving payments Cheesy
exactly what i was thinking! why would someone use another person's address for a faucet. and also for recovery a simple Email address would suffice.

I guess signature  is very necessary for affilate program .

It seems you are not on the same page lol.

The "signature" in fildza's post is about the sign message function of bitcoin. It is a standard method to prove you are the real owner of a particular bitcoin address.
O/T, You would also need to do that as well when you want to recover your bitcointalk account. https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/recovering-hacked-accounts-or-accounts-with-lost-passwords-497545

Thank for answers.

In Multibit I've found tool Sign Messages that generates signature.
And from Multibit help:
You can use Bitcoin technology to sign messages. By signing a message and sending it to someone they can verify that the message came from you and was not changed in transit.

It's to verify you own the addresses. No, they can't steal your money.
