Like the others has said, Faucet is not worth it
Faucet was made for the newbies so they can test and see how bitcoins work, not to make your goddamn rich Tongue
I remember when i collected my first $1 from faucet and i spend it on Humble Bundle Roll Eyes
Good ol' memories indeed Cheesy

Yap. Like mentioned here many times now, faucets are simply not worth it. You cannot earn anything big from those or at least it will take you long long time. Remember that time is money too, so if you appreciate and value your time it's safe to say these are not worth it. Not even close.

like some posters above have stated just find a select number of faucets and just hit them once a day while watching tv.  I found about 15 using faucetbox  from http://bitcoinfaucetrelay.com/  the site even tells you the range of btc - so you can make the decision to not even bother going there

I go the ones with 1000+ satosh only and any that have a bunch of BS tactics of captchas I dont bother with.  Takes like 30 minutes just while watching tv and it starts to add up without driving you crazy trying to do 3 hours at once.

I've been looking for a list like that one. I still do faucets every now and then but I wouldn't depend on it as a primary source of bitcoin.

I was playing on bitvisitor earlier, it was very low hassle payout for looking adverts.   Its also low pay but nothing required to get it, all automatic pretty much and just one or two clicks per pay.
I dont know if there are others like that or more competitive rates just randomly read it mentioned and tried it out.     Going back a while now, the alt coin giveaways used to add to something because some of the coins got very popular at least short term but I dont know if thats still a thing.    Some coins used to be proposed as tipping currency, so you'd not do anything exactly but people could tip or send you coins over Reddit for example.

There is a services section where people request viewers or various tasks for bitcoin, should pay far better

It's best to try a few out and make a list of which one you like best rather than going through a bunch of them and waste your time.

I used to do this as well and it was a pain in the ass for me to go though all the clicking and not earning a lot of satoshi.

Yeah I did this also al the list of the Faucet/Satoshi that it was fun I just note it to excel.
When I woke up just click and click. But over a month or two is just not worth of my time. But it was fun tho.

The secret to not going insane with faucets is to pick a few you like, and just use them. Don't do the ones with anti-bots; as you found, they will just waste your time for nothing in return. Find 30 or 40 faucets you like, save them in one folder in your bookmarks manager, and just use them when you have time. I earn about .01 per week with faucets - but I spend too much time online!

No it's all good, I figured out in the long run it was more of a myth that a guy could make a killing off of faucets.

Yet it was more of an experiment more than anything.

Now it's time for the wait for FaucetBox to send me my hard earned 0.002 BTC lol

Thanks for the replies.  I did look around at Bit Coin jobs, it would seem as if most of them require some sort of vast knowledge of computer skills.  Something I haven't terribly brushed up on years.  Looks like I'm buying any coins I wish to acquire.  Thanks for the replies guys.

Faucets earning are not quite significant these days. Faucet are originaly originated to spread the coins out to the world, like give new thing for free to use. But many facuet owner try to start off faucet hoping to get profit out of the ads but most of them fails these days. Earning is not in significant amount for both owners and the visitors of faucet.

So I was bored last night and visited a few hundred faucets.

Here's my take on these faucets so far.

Some have made it easy to claim a bit of coin with little to no effort.  Basically an easy to understand capcha and them claim.

Some have put in a few hurdles to make you claim your coin, like requiring a capcha and a few clicks of the mouse that I'm not a bot.

Then have some just gone into overdrive to protect there coins.  Like some I saw required 3 capcha's, 1,000 clicks of I'm not a bot, and click through about 3 or 4 pages worth of ads.  Just for a few satoshis.  Those are the ones I want to go, if your going to make me do all of that clicking.  You had better offer me a bit more than 100 sat for my time and effort.  Otherwise why bothering a faucet service from the beginning if your going to make it miserable to claim a few measly sats.

Plus I was reading online if you spent a few hours with these faucets you could earn a nice small amount of bit coins.  I tell ya what for 3 hours worth of work, it sure as hell was a "small" amount of bit coins.  I earned a whopping 0.002 BTC.  I figure I would have at least made about 0.05 BTC.  I didn't even get close.

Hell I'm making more claiming free LTC over BTCs.  Is this a common occurrence to get such a small result?  I realize the price of BTC has gone up again, hence why I'm figuring more people are being tight over there coins.  Yet is it true a guy can really earn a full BTC, doing faucet claims.  Am I just going to the wrong ones, or was I scammed into believing such a fairy tail exists.  So far my most recent efforts tell me I was believing a fairly tale.

The faucets are generally for newbies who are just entering the bitcoin world to collect a little, like you did 0.002 in 3 hours and try to spend it or send it here and there just so they can get familiar with things, how to use wallets etc., if you think you're going to make anything worth while then you're mistaken. And most faucet don't make a profit either, they barely make enough from the ads to keep the faucet loaded.

Yes this is very common. You should not expect to make anything significant by visiting faucets. They are not worth the time to attempt to make a good amount of "free money" You will just be wasting your time. In the time it took for you to make a significant amount of Bitcoin from faucets, you could have done some work for someone and made several orders of magnitude more by doing some actual work in the same amount of time.
