It need lots of daily visitors (real one not bots) who actively claims from you roatator in the faucets for you to earn few % of their claims. However whatever you get can be considered as pure profit after deducting hosting and domain cost because rotator actually don't pay like faucets.

If you are thinking to earning passive and good amount running faucet than i am afraid you can't these days. It is hard to get active faucet claimers who come back to your rotator daily to claim.

Wrong. He is not running faucet, he want to run faucet rotator. Why do you think he don't need bots? Faucets don't need bots, he don't care who will claim, as long he gets his provision. And I don't think bots are using faucets rotators, i thing they are more like self referrals.
You can find hosting for less than 2$. And rotators are nothing but a faucets in iframe, so every frame has new faucet, you claim from faucet and move to next one, you can get reward, referral commission or both of them.

I am planning to build a rotator site for faucets!

i have few doubts though

1. How do they get members

2. Do they earn referral from members using their rotator (most who use rotators will be already using those faucets sites before)

3. Are the rotators really making enough profit to run the site. If so how

4. What are the other ways a rotator site earn money ( other than placing advertisements)

Here is my previous post https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/where-to-spend-faucet-earnings-1565594. Go through this thread you would understand why am asking these questions
