Um....

In Ghanian culture on my mom's side, there was this recipe called, erm, pronounced "Ahpataswabai", which is translated as " a small treat". It is a delicacy made of mashed up potatoes, sugar, flour, spices, plantains, yam, and oil. Blended together, you fry the substance in a frying pan in little individual portions. They taste great, vegan, but very unhealthy. My grandma use to make them on my birthday before she passed away.

On my dad's side, I don't really have favorite recipes from China.....

Then again, I don't have favorites at all. I'm just contributing to your thread.
