Armory uses a precursor to Scrypt called ROMIX. The KDF is set to 16MB. The search space is actually 7 bytes but you're out of luck due to the KDF.

Hi there,

I was wondering if it'd be at all feasible to try cracking a 1.35c "Fragmented Backup™ (3-of-4) (SecurePrint™)" that is missing the SecurePrint code.

As far as I know, the required data is derived from the SecurePrint code by scrypt - so trying on CPU/GPU will likely be futile. What about scrypt ASIC miners though? Then again, Wikipedia has this to say: "A simplified version of scrypt is used as a proof-of-work scheme by a number of cryptocurrencies." Does this mean a Litecoin ASIC will not do "full" scrypt?

I guess depending on the amount of Bitcoin stored in the paper wallet, investing into hardware and power might become interesting one day.

Thanks in advance for any input!
