I am really excited to read these old predictions! It seems to me I am inside the time machine. Good that at least Feathercoin did not die, and even gained a bit during last two months. However, only a few people care about it.

Old coin that just needs to die so people can focus on the new stuff that actually have viable products. People will keep suggesting every so often that it will moon but the reality is that eventually it will go to 0 and currently its only used by a few traders and speculators here and there.

Yep... im thinking of selling all my ftc. been waiting for years. Still worth some good BTC... for how long though.

Well maybe not. Cry

(OP is april 2014)

lol BTC-e. I got my first FTC on that exchange.  FTC switched to Neoscrypt and have been humming along under most peoples radar.  Until the big chinese ICO/EXCHANGE/BTC FUD China accounted for 80% of the activity surrounding FTC.  I think FTC has a future, but it won't break the top 100 anytime soon.  It's good to hold a bag or two.  Of course if the devs do something radical like introduce a POS mechanism or some other innovation, the sky is the limit.

I too still think its a promising coin.

Future will tell.

The thing is that I have not seen the first time information that the Chinese crypto-currency Business is growing and have very good prospects. I think that Everyone should pay attention to their ico company.

Since the massive influx of scrypt asics are around the corner its time to make some prediction.

Here is my FTC prediction on April 29 2014.

Considering that FTC is using Scrypt
Considering that FTC is an ''old'' coin
Considering the past of FTC
Considering that FTC devs have shown their intention to switch algo asap
Considering the apogee of FTC (months ago)
Considering the fact that FTC is on BTC-e
Considering what FTC represent in the eye of most people
Considering FTC community
Considering the recent successful FTC hardfork to avoid multipool

I predict that FTC will have a dominant place in the alt-coin market when we'll consider scrypt to be 100% asics.
