Sometimes it can be a bit slow for my wallets to sync, maybe try adjusting your firewall settings/ports etc

I am also having difficulties getting the initial sync working. The debug.log shows only 3 peers (presumably from peer.dat) that are not available and the IRC times out also. Can anyone post or upload a peer.dat that works please?
but is worth solo mining in feathercoin?

I still cannot get a wallet to sync, I'm not sure what else to do -- I've been mining just fine for a couple days now. My LTC wallet works just fine -- any ideas??? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Mine synced up really fast too hey, no probs what so ever.
i get nth evev if i mine in a pool. this coin seem dubious
I've got mine working for solo... what do I have to do to get it working with a pool? I feel like I'm totally messing it up.
Im on osx and I've solo mined for hours and it doesnt seem like anything is happening. I have no feathercoins to show for it.
don't waste your time it's not working you can tell if you start the solo mining and then hover over the mining icon at the bottom. it will say 0 hashes per sec

Did finally get CPU pool mining figured out thanks to help from a poster here. Not getting much but wanted to try it out anyway. I think I'm on pace for about 1 or 2 coins a day. Just using a laptop though and wasn't really expecting to mine much of anything.
Luckily I got 20 FC gifted to me from the BTC-E trollbox yesterday. Probably take me a year to get that once the difficulty ramps up.

Did you have to do anything special or was it pretty much plug and play? I've extracted mine to desktop and run as admin...just doesn't do anything.
