Yeh, is actually considered as a bug in the browsers. For example, it should be fixed in a next Firefox version (v46 but I didn't try): https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=975632 There are some CSS fixes for it too though, like the usage of "table-layout: fixed" on the table (although that breaks the header width so would need to fix that next.)

In the end there are plenty of CSS fixes/changes that could improve this forum and especially make it slightly responsive for smaller devices. But since the new forum is actively being developed on, I don't think it has much priority.

After further investigation, this is browser specific. Firefox, IE (not Edge) and Opera seem to be affected.

Yeah, this is annoying especially when you have to check a lot of users' posts. Hopefully it can be easily fixed.

Well I'm no expert but it shouldn't be hard, it's fixable on the CSS/HTML level.
I never said that it was a complex fix. Even though it might just be on the HTML/CSS level, that does not mean that the fix is simple. It comes down to what is causing it and how it is structured. It may very well be something that needs a few more changes.

Yes, it should be easy for the devs.
There are no developers, there is only theymos.

This is a known problem (I think). I've noticed this long ago, and while it is a bit annoying when it happens I don't give it priority now. Depending on the complexity of the changes needed, it might be best to just remind the developers of the new forum software to take another look so that this doesn't happen on the new forum as well.

Yes, it should be easy for the devs. They would have to make the width same for all the posts.
I think it should be around 940 pixels (for PCs).

This problem also happens when someone views their drafts.
Adding the Wrap feature to these posts would help.

When you go to someone's profile and press Show the last posts of this person. Images and code with no linebreaks won't scale to fit the page size. You may look at my posts for an example of this.
