February 3rd, 1959.  The Day The Music Died.

I was a little kid and would put the pink plastic clock radio onto WHB, 710 AM, The World's Happiest Broadcasters whenever my Mom would let me get away with it.

Mom and Dad had their music and I had mine.

The next day I heard the news.

I wasn't certain exactly what had happened beyond the deaths of three musicians whose music I loved but I was somehow positive that my world had changed............

I actually saw this one on "American Bandstand" on a black and white RCA console TV when the video was new:

Maybe all that is part of why I am the way that I am now.

Why waltz when you can Rock And Roll?

Don't worry..................................

If you think I'm crazy, I might be a little but...................

....if you are my friend, I will not lie to you, I will not fuck you and I will not abandon you.

Gonna go out to the garage now and sit in the back of the Old One, pop the top on a cool one and think about things..........
