hang on, the number of transactions on ethereum is more than all other crypto currencies combined at the moment and has almost doubled its daily number in a week. these are growing pains, nothing more. if you're disappointed with 20-30 min tx times, bear in mind some bitcoin transactions can take a day.

you can't do anything on the bitcoin block chain except send and receive bitcoin. ethereum is a platform on which you can build applications, it's a whole other animal. sharding will come on board soon which will decrease transaction time back down and reduce gas fees.

bear in mind that before the crypto kitties craze, transacation times were about 8-12 seconds consistently. i was buying lots of ens names, about 500 and the average time was seriously fast at about 10 seconds on over 1500 transactions i did.

you need to look to the future when this technology will be huge and appreciate that solutions are being worked on right now and will be on the main net very soon.

2023 would most likely be as bearish as 2022
