It seems a little overwhelming - too many logos in one place imo.
I'd prefere a version with top~50 (or less) cryptocurrencies *without* all the potato-tokens: https://coinmarketcap.com/coins/views/filter-non-mineable/

Anyway, looking forward to see how this comes out on metal.

Thanks for your input

Cool!  Thanks for the link.

Sounds like this could go both ways:

“The  use  of  bitcoin’s  blockchain  to  store  data  unrelated  to  bitcoin  payments  is
a controversial subject.  Many developers consider such use abusive and want to
discourage it.   Others view it as a demonstration of the powerful capabilities of
blockchain technology and want to encourage such experimentation.”

the QR Code brings you to this page:  https://lynxartcollection.com/pages/query-codes-may-16th-2018

I think this will be a really fun piece to be able to display and reference pricing, coin data, etc.  Fun history and cool art in one  Smiley

I will go ahead and release this as a limited piece.

You should figure out how to link them all to a blockchain, for future reference in years to come should your site go offline etc.

Just thinking out loud....

final update:

The piece is x65 coins in total.

you'll notice a QR code on the bottom right.

Scanning the code brings you to our website which shows you a snapshot of the coinmarketcap data from the date the piece was made (today).  Cheesy

so here's the final one with the QR code:

and note:  there's no pixelation, that's just because I screenshotted it from my program, all logos are completely rounded and in full res

That second version is definitely more eye-appealing. Reminds me of the cover of that new hardcover book, 2018 Catalog of Standard Crypto Currencies...

lol yeah does look like a book cover

Your BTC looks a little janky compared to the one on this book cover.

I like this but if I were to buy one I would want proper unmodified logos. The bitcoin one in your reference picture just feels wrong. I do understand why you have added your own flair to them and it will be a nice piece in the end.

True.  I can do a clean version.

Hey folks!

We had someone reach out to us and request we put a variety of cryptocurrencies onto a black background and offer it as a metal panel.  They mentioned that if anyone else had interest in the piece, to offer it to the community, as well, rather than just a 1 of 1.

So I'm reaching out here to see if this piece would interest any of you.  It's fairly simple, as per his request, and just features several of the coin logos against the black background, with a few modifications to the logos.  Our panels that have the black backgrounds pop really nicely.  I don't have an example of this specific piece on metal, since I'm still in production with it, but will happily share pics of it when completed.  Those of you who have some of our metals will know what I'm talking about when I say it has a real depth to it because of the high gloss which creates a serious reflection.

EDIT:[/b]

Made more sense to go through and, instead of doing things alphabetically, taking a snapshot of what the exact coinmarketcap is as of the moment I worked on it.

FUN STUFF:

The piece includes a QR code on the bottom right section as you'll see in the art.  If you scan the code, it'll bring you to a page on our website that has a snapshot of coinmarketcap from exactly when I made the piece, so you can always scan the QR and reference what coin is on the art.  Don't recognize a coin?  Scan it and find it!  This will make for a fun historical piece to look back on, scan, and check pricing Smiley  QR brings you to this page:  https://lynxartcollection.com/pages/query-codes-may-16th-2018

here's the final version
