you are correct so lets compare  and come up with a better pricing for the r4.

It is really quiet   fan is under 1400 rpm.  What does this mean?  For many  not all  it means free power if you need a space heater in the office.  Many people do.

So I can make a 0 power  chart for it.  We all know the s-9   needs hosting for many people so I can make a 6 cent power chart for it.

This is fair comparison  for   the office user  with 0 power cost  against a hosted user six cent power cost

If you do not fit these  you need to do some more work.

I  see I can get a new s-9  on a pre order for 1099 + 68 to ship = 1167 usd  it will arrive on September 20th 2017.  That is 75 days.

So your  gear comes in a few days.  So it is a 75 day head start  but you are 6.5th  the new s-9 is  13.0 th

Not sure what to ask.   at 6400gh  it is about 75% whole

based on 2000 on amazon and ebay  75% is 1500

That is too high.

Based on  900 for an avalon 741 direct  from  cannon.io --- it cost 714 + shipping + rasp pi


  the avalon  does 7.3  but burns  1000-1050 watts vs my 675 watts

so  my slightly off  r4   with the old school firmware  kind of matches  the avalon 741 direct from avalon.

there is a shot a firmware upgrade  could improve it  to 7500 or so.

if I ask 900  usd in btc   it should sell  no questions.

I am looking to move to all nvidia 1080 ti's and or amd vega's.


so over 900 and under 1500  seems to be fair to me.

Okay  I got this r4 in dec.  a board died   I ran it on one board. Finally decided  to send 1 board in for repair.

board came back  and it works but so so.

the firmware is rolled back to last year so you have full frequency control.

The one board can do freq 600 and give 4000gh

but if you do that  the repaired board gives 1500gh with tons of x's

It does 6300-6500 stable  with 670 watts  on a kwatt meter with a plat psu.
