Some bounty hunters still hold on to their tokens even when every thing looks not so good for crypto, through successful bounty spreadsheets some bounty hunters still keep their tokens for example gowithmi, why? Do you think they are doing the wrong thing? Will they regret later?

we can't blame anyone here because everyone has their own way of thinking. and everyone has a decision that has been made on the tokens / coins that they already have from the results of the bounty campaign. when they will sell it surely they have their reasons.because if later they make the wrong decision then they will accept the risk of loss themselves.

Holding in crypto its not something bad at all, but know when to hold and what coin to hold.  Some hold coins they are supposed to have sold while some sell good coins they would have hold.  One will ask how to kmow which coin to sell and which coin to hold, you can know thiw by being conversant with the project communication medium, check islf there are line ups of developments incoming,  check team activeness, check the project timeline of any major event.  This will give you a clue of wether to hold or sell. And always take profit once you meet any of your target.  Dont be greedy don't hold unnecessarily

But this is the problem is it not? If we all knew what to hold,,, then for sure we would do it. Back in 2017 99% of altcoins you held grew in value, and so this made a lot of people think they were smart geniuses in crypto trading.

But the reality was that people were lucky and had the right timing, that is all.

Just check out all the signal channels who think they know what they are doing. They do not!

A bounty hunter who still holds the old coins, maybe he still believes that the coin will rise in price sometime later. This is actually a bet between going up the price, or the coin it will be shitcoin. Or it could be because if sold now the price is not how, so they wait for wonders for the coins that were held until the price can rise high.

I personally will hold them for a very long term, who knows, the price might recover or it becomes worthless. Nevertheless, I've prepared myself for the worst and a bit of hoping for the better. I mean I've had my chance to sell it cheaper but I didn't do it or I missed the train and it fell too deep for me to let go, so I don't give a damn anymore about them. I just keep them waiting for a miracle that never came. I've learned my lesson to not hold a new altcoins for too long, sell them while you can.

I hold tokens from the bounty campaigns! I could sell some of them very cheap, but I didn't, I decided to give them more time.
My main plan is to invest money from my salary in Bitcoin and other good alt-coins, but bounties are new projects and for me
participating in bounties is a hobby. I don't expect to earn a lot, at least some tokens and to have them for the future. Some
of new projects will make a nice rise one day, I can just hope they will worth one day much more, but even if they don't it's
ok, I don't relay on them too much!

holding is the best thing to do when everything is not in a good condition  but i dont know why you consider hodling a bad thing  .

i rather hold my coins forever than selling them on the price that i dont like .

it gives regrets too because you wont know , what if the price accidentally pumped soon   ? your gonna missed big if that happens  .

as a bounty hunter, I have the same thoughts as them. when I hold a coin for a long time even though the coin continues to give bad news and even the price continues to dump, I think that I will hold the coin until it is worth selling, or until the coin loses its price.
coins that have been retained like that are better retained in the long run in the hope that the price can recover. some people choose to stick to that principle, and some people sell the coins at very cheap prices.

OP, whatever the token, it doesn't matter.  We are always hope to get decent paid aftee joined in a bounty. There is no one person who willing to work without getting paid or only get paid less than $100 in few months in bounty.
I also still hold my token until now which only worth less than $100 since i think it's better than sell it now with cheap price
Indeed, if the current market now is the reason why bounty hunters cant sell their tokens then its better to hold and wait.

Thats why if we join in project lets make sure its a worthy one so the tokens that we will going to receive is worth to hold even we cant sell it immediately due for some reason.

It is better for now, when i can sell token from bounty although price not really good. As long it not far with ICO price, i will sell it. Hold token for a longer time only cause the token will be something that to be collection in our wallet and price will be very low. I regret hold some of my tokens and not sell it in market when i can sell it.

But actually these days we cannot see nearest to the ICO price since most of the coins/tokens has been drop or the value is not the same as advertise value when they are doing an ICO, and it's really better to sell immediately today since by taking the profit we will make ourself compensated for the efforts we've done since if we hold to much we will possibly lose the money since the coins/tokens right now is for short term and dev will leave it when they get the target money that they want.

Holding of a bad token by the bounty hunter may be caused by few reasons:

1, No exchange for the token
2, The effort put into it outweigh the current market price.
3, There is a positive signals from the coin developer/team
4, No one is willing to buy (Only sell order on the exchange/s)

They are doing the right thing probably because they do not have a choice.

every bounty hunters have different opinion about the project, some of them think the project is good so it can be pump in the future. these type will hold their token

some other bounty hunter think that the project is shit so it's better to sell ASAP

i think there is no wrong in every decision. they have different opinion, if in the future they will regret, they can learn from mistake, that's how to get knowledge

I believe that a lot of bounty hunters are going to use the long route to success, and that means by holding their bounty assets until those tokens have a chance to appreciate in value (hopefully). Others are in need of the cash so they go to the markets and sell right away. There are many different strategies to utilize when speculating & investing. One of the most common two are 1: holding/ going long and 2. shorting selling right away for a profit.

You cant say that they do held off such bounty token due to their belief that those coins would be worthy in the future. Majority would
really be on the situation on where you don't have any option but to held off those no worth tokens into your own wallets rather than
selling them on peanuts.Hence, holding them like forever wont cost you anything but we cant really remove into ones mind on the hope for
some random pumps which can possibly give us out some profits.

It's wrong for us to think that they are doing it wrong. It's their reward and tokens so they can assume and think beyond our wild guesses on their own. We don't have to think about them regretting that they've never sold before.

It's already no use to tell them to sell if the token they have has already no value at all. That's their choice and they can keep it if they want and sell it whenever they want but how to sell if there's no volume with those coins.

I'm one of the token holders on these kinds of tokens, even in this current market condition there are still coins worth holding these tokens/coins I'm still holding these tokens because they still updating their telegram channel and social media, one of this is Adab I've got it from the bounty, this coin has a lot of bad things going for them but like one of the people who invested here that wants to dump this coin on a good profit,  it's not easy to do bounty almost 7 months although I did not finish the bounty, and only get pennies.

I agree it's so stressful to meet on their requirements and end up getting nothing for spending long months of doing some works with them, but we can act to get our compensation on bounties and instead of holding it we sold it at valuable price we should look for it's ICO price since for sure at the current market today most all of them will not reach to the price set on their public sale and that's why we should sell off so that we will not regret if dumping time came.

Many reasons why they want to hold their tokens. Among others, they want to get more than that, they want the project to evolve first.
Or it could be that they do not need money so instead of being in charge to hold who knows later will get more and regrets will definitely come at the end.
As long as we know that the team behind those coins are still active and putting efforts to make it worthwhile then I can keep it till the bull run happens again, I believe some still see value behind those worthless amount those coins have now as they believe in the project idea. I still hold some bounty alts, some I regret not selling but that already happens so be it while some is I choose to still hold because of teams update and dedication, all I hope is they don't lose hope in their project.

I think those who hold tokens are still brave in reality, even in situations like this they open sell but buy solid tokens, they know when to release the tokens in hand, some bounty hunters are too rushed to release their coins without thinking of struggling to find them This is not a good thing, for me the current holder is brave in reality

Maybe those hunters who sold their tokens too early, just because of an emergency needs for finances. Beyond of that is panic and affected emotionally by certain factors like FUD, and other speculative news which spreads a lot of negative articles. A lot of brave holders has no choice but choose to be strong in order to survive, and still hopes to see their tokens reach the most promising value.

Bounty hunters who hold their tokens are just waiting for acceptable price to sell it, its not wise to sell during bearish trend because if you do, its like giving away your rewards that you've been working in for months.

On the other side they might see a potential in this tokens thats why they refrain to sell even it has value already. I have tokens that I didnt sell a year ago for this reason and now been waiting for a price increase to gain from it.

That's if the coin is worth keeping.
Any bounty hunter that have successfully kept an altcoin or token after distribution must have seen potentiality in the coin.
Mostly what many bounty hunters do is to dump and sell off the coins immediately when they are distributed or paid. More reason why ICO dumps..

Depends on the coin they are holding. I myself, never regret to sell those coins I've got from bounties. And fortunately, i sold those because the price of that coin never increased after the dump. For those who are still hoping that their hold coins have a chance to go up, it may still. Since we are in a cryptocurrency where the volatility goes.

Folks are holding not necessarily because they are sure that they will make the expected returns . In Crypto there are no guarantees . It can go either way. It might bring some returns or some losses.
Right, they have expected big gains in the future from their coin and that's why they are holding it even the price goes to to the zero. I have even seen some people said that they will always keep their coin until they die. They were thinking if any project will become the big projects in the future.
Also an instant big loss is possible in cryptocurrency.
Those hunters must have started to change their mind about any coin should be holding for long term.

there are several reasons such as the price of coins that are still not worth trading according to their target, if the coin is only worth $5 then their coins will only stop up to the deposit stage only with a market cost greater than that, and vice versa if the coin turns out to have a volume enough, they will increase their profit targets patiently. Another reason is that they are waiting for a better market with easier Kyc requirements.

There is nothing wrong about that as long as the user himself is confident to do so, regret or not later is a risk that must be faced. Indeed, there are still many bounty hunters who are brave and stick to their convictions is a good mentality in a situation that might be difficult to accept, but with a good mentality that proves if they believe in a future that might be better.

We can not assume everything in general, everyone must have their reasons why they still maintain the rewards in their wallet. It could be because they are confident in the future of the project, and will provide greater profits in the future than selling it now at a less favourable price.
Another reason, could be because someone lost access to enter the wallet, right? for example losing private keys, forgetting passwords, etc. Who knows? anything can happen.
There are also those who sell it immediately because they need money. Not because the project isn't good, right? but because of an urgent situation.
Instead of thinking about things that are less useful, moreover it is related to each other's decisions, it's better to focus on achieving yourself.

Before 2018 when the market was doing fantastic folks made a ton of cash . With that be replayed no body knows but it is better to prepared and discover that the market did not pick up than not to be ready when it picks . I think that should be the mindset of bounty hunters who are holding on to their tokens

2017 was such a fantastic year for bounty hunters and investors alike . A good number if bounty hunters who who embraced bounty late who missed out on the 2017 are still believing that the event of 2017 could be replayed in times to come. So the option is to hold the tokens and hope that eventually the tokens will appreciate so they can make some good returns.

I was a bounty hunter my self at first when crypto is on the verge of getting more hype, that time I don't have enough money to buy more alts so instead I used my time doing bounties. The thing is if you sold your new tokens immediately, then saw it double or triple the price after a few moments of time, you would definitely hurt. I also felt that way most of the time and instead of choosing to sold them I would just keep them at my hands, even though they would wait in there for a thousands of years. I have different kinds of coins in my wallet and some of them are worth a pennies but never had the slightest thinking of selling them.

This depends on the coin you earn from the bounty. As you have a reason to sell, someone else has a reason to hold it as well. Generally the bounty coins/tokens are traded several times below the ICO price after listing and selling these coins is nothing more than paying exchange's fee. At the end your profit will be a few cents. Perhaps holding will bring more profit in the future depending on the success of the project.

Being bold and holding on to a coin that is about to hit Rock bottom doesn't justify anything. I would call it stubbornness. Some project's coins are not even supposed to be kept for any point of time. Because in the long run you would regret it

Bounty hunters hold their tokens for different reasons, sometimes it will be cause the token is not worth anything and have a very low volume at the moment and other times it wil be cause the project seem promising and they will decide to hold for a while till it pumps.

I agree with the opinion that those bounty hunters who left coins in their wallet hoping that they would increase in price and that their price fell on the contrary, of course, regret that they were overcome by greed and did not sell the coins on time. I have two such coins on my wallet whose price has become very low. I am now very sorry about that.

I still hold on tokens generated from the campaign, but I don't expect much for those coins. The biggest reason is because the results obtained do not generate large funds and sometimes not more than the inter-market fee charges, therefore I hold the tokens from the campaign results.

Some bounty hunters still hold on to their tokens even when every thing looks not so good for crypto, through successful bounty spreadsheets some bounty hunters still keep their tokens for example gowithmi, why? Do you think they are doing the wrong thing? Will they regret later?
I think some people still follow that philosophy of HODL because it's not the end. But I think they are mistaken. It might be not be the end for bitcoin and other top currencies but it actually is an end for most of the small cryptocurrencies which do not have any utility. The next bull run will only be for those currencies which actually have some worth and work for providing value to the people. I am not judging any specific coin but 90% of the coins really were created out of nothing. Moreover the problem is that they aren't even accountable for people'e money and are not at all responding about what is happening on the project.

I am just one of those bounty hunters who had hold some of the tokens. I could have sold them when the price is good but I guess I'm too late to do that. My regrets is taht some of these tokens already were accused of scam because the team already disappear and the were now delisted to the exchanges.

I have no idea about Gowithmi but I think its a solid coin. 3 reputable exchange had added this coin which is damn coin I missed when they did a bounty campaign. I will probably hold gowithmi if I got some for these for free.

Those bounty hunters who chooses to hodl their tokens does so to keep it for greener days I had past experience of hunters who dumped their tokens at the very cheap price later the coin pumped 10X thus regretting their action eg oyster I believed a token with a good project has the potential to develop and grow based on favorable market conditions especially when there is a massive pumped in the crypto market.

Bounty hunters hold their tokens for two reasons.

1. They strongly believes that project's potential so they want to take more benefits by holding it longer since bounty hunters might done enough research about that project before joining or promoting it.

2.Or that token don't have any value so they have no other choice.

I have not sold a single coin in 2 years and continue to hold. I will only sell when the altcoin season begins. Now selling my coins for a penny, I see no reason

Gowithmi I think is a really god project, the team is legit, they had released their apps already and they didn't even cheat the bounty hunters like the new teams these days. These I guess is a good sign for being good project.

What nonsense.

Bounty hunters hold their coins first because they are difficult to sell, the prices that we see now for many coins do not meet the expectation of bounty hunters, because of this they hold coins for a more convenient case.
With rare exceptions, they hold coins believing in their prospects, such projects in the unit market. A much more profitable way would be to sell new little liquid coins in favor of old proven projects.

Tokens are already in the coineal exchange, the reason why they find it difficult to sell is that they find the price unacceptable. But if they were on coineal when the price was still up $0.01 I guess they now have bought back to have doubled the quantity for their tokens.

choose hold or sell it is their choice, and for the problem of regret or no doubt they are ready with it. but if they can find out the movement of the token will dump then they will definitely sell it compared to holding it.

I think mostly because like when we hold token from campaign, some of us think about we get it from campaign and not use any capital. Or maybe only me who think about that. Because other people sometime said that in bounty campaign we also use our effort and time. But for me it is still zero capital. Until now, i hold some of tokens that i get from translate bounty. And some of them i can't sell because no market.

I was one of the bounty hunters who held on to a part of the tokens I received as reward (during 2017/18). And I have to say that I regret about my decision now. Many of these tokens are no longer being traded and the few that are still being traded have lost more than 90% of their value. I am just talking about what happened to me... but there is a chance that the other bounty hunters are luckier..

oh man i would dump everything from those crappy bounties most of the time.  Its usually a race to who can dump first with those Tongue
The team or the bounty hunters haha.  If the project is super legit, then it is prob worth holding them tho, good tokens usually take 1-2 years to really have a decent moon
Bounties like Antshares i partook in (now NEO), was like 2500 coins, imagine holding those till ATH,  it hit like 200$ per coin haha Wink

I do and they will regret it later. They have a big expectation to the price of that token will go to the moon in the future. I have seen so many hunters are still holding their token until that worth zero value.
It can be considered as a reason or there is another reason just like they forget if they have participated on there.

I personally think that bounties hunters should dump their tokens whenever they see fit.

If they have worked for their tokens they are free to do with them as they see fit. If the project genuinely has potential, then they will be foolish to dump early.

However, if it is just another shitcoin that will dump, then they're the smart ones getting their cash out before it drops to zero.

There is nothing wrong if bounty hunters choose to hold tokens that they get from promoting an ICO project. Maybe my tokens that they have have not yet been listed on the exchange so they can't sell them and of course this will make us feel disappointed of course when the tokens that we have are not listed on the exchange and we will feel that what we do is just useless. But, to find out about developments in the ICO project that you are taking part in, it might be better for you to look at the telegram and ask directly if something happens that might happen.

there are several reasons that can be explained why bounty hunters still hold the coins they have. A common reason is the unavailability of very little volume or volume on the exchange to sell tokens. But sometimes the volume is already large and they still hold it in hopes of rising and reaching the ICO price. when bitcoin prices dump all altcoins down by 90%. But hold tokens are forced to do if there is no exchange or volume that supports.

They still believe that tokens they are holdings might worth something in the future when bull market start.we cannot say anything bad against them since thats a personal decision if they want to hold it or not . They are the one who will lost if that coins will get no value not us.

There is nothing wrong with it and if you don't need the money and you know that this project has the potential to become a reputable coin. And this can be considered our invesment because we hold it for a long time to make a profit. They also have no regrets here because they just got it out of the bounty, and they didn't use their hard earned money to get this token.

That depends on the holder, if shitcoin is good, they will save for a long time and hope for an increase in the future, but it's different from me if I get a token from my prize, it's better to sell it right away because the good price  won't last long for shitcoin .
Everyone has a different opinion.

Those who still hold are the real bold hunters but knowing when to hodl and when not to makes a hunter even more bold. If a hunter understands the market takes profit when he should it's better than holding forever.

They can’t afford to sell at a cheaper price and some are still hoping for a shitcoins to go up. I have some shitcoins with no value at all so its just a display to my wallet and I don’t have any option to take profit. If they can hold only good coins, they will see the worth on that coin but if its a shitcoin I bet they will not succeed and yes regret later.
