I have a few coins I earned from doing bounty campaigns last year and they're pretty much useless since its worth is only like less than a dollar. I don't wanna just dump it because I worked hard for it but I can't exactly sell/trade it either.

So my question is, is there anyway I can still make use of these coins?

As you have said, their worth now is not relevant. So the only use of it for now is merely a display on your wallet. Hold it since you can't sell it for a good price. That's life you need to accept it.

Most of the bounty hunters are in the same boat as you are, i bet some of them token become worthless because of the crash, it happens also way back when bitcoin hits the first 1.5k usd and went back 150USD thats how dangerous crypto is when it comes to financial, you can hold or trade to increase your holding while waiting for another jump.

Every project have their own tokens although sometimes they just required the old tokens as means of rewards. However, the tokens doesn't always mean potential due to huge coins in crypto that seems like competition between altcoins the strongest survive the weaker will gone. If you have earned tokens from your bounty doing and that tokens are potential, I would like to say think about holding or trade the tokens if you know what the exact things to do.

Small rewards, coins and tokens that are increasingly worthless, scams, allocations are cut, are one of the risks as a bounty hunter. Your luck and ability in choosing a project will determine your income. The right timings to sell these rewards must also be right, especially with the increasingly bad market conditions. If you sell it late and it's not worth it, I just want to hold it back, wait, who knows, someday the price will bounce again.

There is nothing that we could do if we couldn't sell it in the trading site or use their token for their project,
If we don't want to sell it for a low price then just keep it as a reminder for our hard work.

In the investment market, any project can go into minus or collapse, and you will lose your funds. Do not worry very much that some coin is worth nothing, in any business there are failures. You just have to take more projects, and from this, according to the Pareto method, will give a result of 20%.  But we should not forget about it, periodically checking, there are miracles in life.

Now all new tokens are falling very much in price after listing on the stock exchange. It all depends on the prospects of the project ICO. If the project develops, then tokens after the recovery of the cryptocurrency market will grow in value. Therefore, even if now they are practically worthless, it is better to keep them in their wallets. We already have nothing to lose from this, and the possibility of making a profit from them is still there.

be patient friend, some of the coins that you have must be useful someday..but not all of the coins will be valuable, only a few and you can see the growth of the coin on the social media project..
because what you experience is also the same as mine, so just be patient which we can do from the rush of selling at cheap prices is better kept..

Same goes for me here, i had several coins from bounty reward that i kept until today.
For now i'll just wait for them to rise their price again, and i tried to trade in the market while waiting for the price to rise.

hold what you've got from the results of the bounty. all of that will be able to ride even reaches the value ICO. up to now many bounty results do indeed fall and if sold it at a low price then it will be worth it what are you doing in the bounty because it gets results. Don't be in a hurry to wait for price increases occur.

First before joining a campaign you should know what their project is for,
Some of the good project to join is the mining token where you could use their token to mine so even if their token become worthless in the market you could use it to mine.

The worst thing that can happen to those coins is that they stop having value, but losing one dollar is not going to make a huge difference in your life, however if you keep holding and for some reason those coins recover and become really popular in the community you could get many times their current value so if I were in your shoes the decision seems easy to me and I will keep holding those coins.

Bounty now brings little profit and takes a lot of time. However, it gives you the opportunity to sell these coins and invest them in another project that you like.

I still keep the coins from the bounty with a fairly large amount. of the many who obtained just a few that deserve to be sold and produced. the rest of it doesn't have a reasonable selling price and even no satisfactory results. This is certainly also due to crypto that falls at this time makes a lot of bad results the bounty as well.

It seems like you hope you can use that coin later. Because from the first you get coins until now the price doesn't go up and it still can't be sold. Not only you, I also experienced things like you. What I do is not look at the coin and focus on the new bounty. It's better to look for new coins sourced from good projects, hopefully they can be sold after they are received.

Sure, why not right? But first, you must hold it for now. Since that was your coins, hold it as long as you can or until you see it become more expensive. If you sell it now, it's tantamount to throwing away our efforts to get it, Then the results we get are not feasible.

When the market is very horrible at now will lead to the decrease of the Token exchange rate, so that the profit you will earn from bounty is less. I think you should sell now when receiving the Token and exchange to ETH to hold until the next year 2019.

The only way you do is to hold that and you wait price to up. But in reality you still lucky because other bounty did not get their reward token or altcoin so you still lucky on that situation but in the price is not good because that is very low.

No way unless those coins are only tradeable. Most of these coins doesn't have any use, they are just going to give you a profit if you sell them earlier but if not then you will be stucked in the midst of it depending on what you've been doing around.
Sell it with few bucks and trade with other coins to grow it.

I think there's no other way for you to use it but to sell it in an exchange. Basing on your rank, I think most of your bounty is from social media campaign were there are over thousands of participants, that is why you only get a few coins.

If your tokens can't be traded on any exchange then I guess there is no exact use for it. Unless you do a peer-to-peer transaction dirrectly to the people who wants to buy your tokens, but remember use an escrow.

It is difficult to give accurate advice, you need to know what tokens you are talking about. There are promising projects whose tokens are best kept for a long time and they will grow in value. The tokens of other projects are best sold immediately at any price, because they do not have the prospect of speedy growth.

The market fell sharply for too long, causing all Altcoins to fall sharply, causing everything to be affected. I do not know if they can grow again or not, but I advise you to try to keep it going and expect it to rise to the price you want.

many factors for falling bounty coins, projects that are less attractive, less salable projects, and also a dump of bounty hunters. in my opinion the coins you get will only be stored in the wallet, and cannot be used.

Honestly speaking, that coins of yours is useless as it is considered shitcoins in my opinion. Move on and seek for another bounty campaign that you think you can earn something and forget that you have those shitcoins.

Similar situation here, I have a lot here that are just worth some unreasonable amount, it would not make sense to me selling at such ridiculous amounts that may not even worth the exchange and withdrawal fees, I don't care what becomes of them in the future but will just store and forget them. My advice is to keep holding them till become gold, this does sound ridiculous but in fact it really happened. In the middle of 2016 I have started collecting tokens that have no value and can even be said to be a scam, but in 2017 all the price of the tokens rose above what I expected. So the point is keep trying to collect more tokens and never think about prices because we don't know what will happen in the future

Another option that is also possible, is that if the ICO had a real utility, you can easily wait for that to be completed, usually the best ICOs are those that are pointing to a platform and their tokens are useful, if you chose one so, you can use it once the project is complete.

Sorry, I do not understand your question. You do not want to sell them but you want advice? What can you do with them, I think there is nothing if you do not want to sell them and invest in other coins.  If these projects have a platform where can you increase the number of your coins?

Wait for the market to recover and almost all tokens are below ICO price. I have a lot of tokens which is useless to sell and they are less than 5 usd. And a lot of ICO's today are affected by the market condition. Some of them only raised enough money to fund the platform/product. And some of them slashed the bounty rewards.

Surely each of us has such coins that have a small value, not a small amount of trades in this coin. Personally, I keep those coins that I did not have time to sell at a reasonable price and now I hope that their price will rise when the market recovers.

It all depends on the projects in which you participated. If they are promising, just wait for the tokens to show growth. Do not despair, maybe this is a good coin, and when the market turns around you will get a good profit.

If these coins are traded at least somewhere, then you will have a chance to sell them when growth begins, last year all the shitcoins increased in price, so I think that if growth repeats, then all the coins will grow.

A lot of tokens of promising projects are now estimated ten times lower than the cost of the ICO. I don't think that's a reason to sell. Wait for the overall growth of the market, and you can safely sell, while you get a profit of several tens or maybe hundreds of times more. Personally, I would be sorry so cheap to sell their labor

It's digital so you can't really do much about it like put it on a box or whatever  Grin

Kidding aside, it seems that your only option now is to wait. Try to check some updates about the project you previously promoted, there might be some exciting developments that could increase the value of your coins.

The best you can do is hold. One of the strategies i deploy towards such coins, is that, is that i behave as if i do not have them. So if they eventually pump to the point in which i can sell and i am available at that time, i will sell.
Another thing that is of concern to me is that, those coins i have that are in that category, were gotten from airdrop, but my bounty rewards have been quite meaningful.

Maximum projects distribute coins among bounty hunters but they give very small payments. Sometimes they give 5-30 times or even more times less payment  at the end but they promised high at the time or start bounty. This very small payment is worthless maximum time.

we work on the bounty and get the tokens, which if sold little, are very cheap, I suggest if you follow the bounty, use a social media account that is in the high tier, and follow the article, video, or signature. this can provide enough profit even though the price of the token or coin is very low

I have a few coins I earned from doing bounty campaigns last year and they're pretty much useless since its worth is only like less than a dollar. I don't wanna just dump it because I worked hard for it but I can't exactly sell/trade it either.

So my question is, is there anyway I can still make use of these coins?

True, you have to pick your bounty very well also. It's just like contributing as an ICO participant, while you may have not used fiat or crypto to contribute in the ICO, you contributed time and effort as a bounty hunter.

I can relate to you. I have lots of coins that have useless values. If you can bare seeing it in your wallet, I suggest that you just keep it there. I think one of the reasons why its value is so low is that the market right now is very bearish. Just wait for the market to recover and your coin will eventually increase is market price.

You earned few coins because maybe the project has a lot of participants and a lot of people share to a fix bounty pool. Wait and hope for the coin to pump in the future, sad to say but the coin is useless for now.

Participants limitation need for bounty campaign. A lot of participants join a campaign and everyone get a few coin as a bounty work payment.
Smart bounty manager feel about bounty hunters. He fix the limit of participants.

if you get a coin last year, but you are still confused about selling or holding, you should join a telegram and see the development of the project there, if the team is still active to make a lot of development your coins still have hope to have high value in the future but if the team is inactive then the coins you have will probably die soon

Honestly you can either do intelligence and analysis concerning the potential value of the asset and wait, if not - sell them for rocks and in some cases these assets could be utility tokens of some projects.
Then you can use services by paying with the tokens you have.

It all depends on what kind of token it is. but I think that if your tokens price are nothing, then the project doesn’t realize itself

Now the bonuses are delayed and delayed so much, so I have not been earnest, although I just want to be lucky, but the reality of the market is no longer growing any more.

if you're sorry to sell your coins due to the low price, then do not do it. nobody makes it. I also have campaign coins that are either cheap or not yet traded, but I keep them. that before using coins then you need to read about the project and where you can use its coins

I think you should post the name of tokens here. Some people can help you to evaluate its potential. But as you said, those tokens are become the dead-coins now.

Just many projects have not yet released their final product. Look at the roadmap many of them have finished product output only in a few years. So what good price can we talk about? Such coins will have a good price only when the finished product is released.

Many bounty hunter working hard but gets reward/token at low price. So they hold that, some token they sell. If you are one of bounty hunter then you also got that. I suggest you please sell the coin after some days. Maybe the value of those coin can be increase.

You can keep it. Although it looks worthless now. But who knows what will happen in the future? At the beginning, the price of BTC was very low. So hold it. Maybe it will change your life in the future.

You can hold them for now, and then sell them to some kind of crypto numismatist, I think there are such people even in this area!

There are two implications to this question.

1. If the coin is in the market and listed in a good exchange, then there is need to wait because the market now is nothing to write home about.
2. If the coin is not in the market and not listed anywhere, it is as good as forgetting it.

All the same, the Dev. of such coins could wake up some day to pursue the goal of their project and resurrect the coin. So it is good to wait patiently.

The market is really now very unfavorable to all and sundry. Earnings from bounties have dropped in their value to the extent that it's pointless trying to sell them. I recently received bounty payment from UCHAIN, and it's worth in the current market condition isn't more than $15. I have just decided to hodl, hoping the market bouncing back and the value increases. So I think you should simply hodl

maybe their ICO isn't successful and the project doesn't work, so their coins become worthless, and you get a small amount of coins. many factors make coins worthless. There are some collectors who buy coins, but sometimes they buy at a price lower than the market price

Right now the market is in a bad shape, so it may not worth selling (it may even be under some exchanges' minimum amount).
On another hand it depends on the projects you've advertised. If you do believe they're good projects, some of those coins could rise nicely. If you joined blindly, it's a gamble and probably a good number of them will turn into dust very soon.

To some extent they can still be useful, conjanitor is a project that wants to buy out crashed or failed projects... Only that they must be pow, more than 2years, and have less than $50000 total market volume. If you are able to contact the developer of such project you can send them to aggree with the coinjanitor. And you can win... Some coins... So i guess failed or worthless coins to some extent has a worth
i guess taht bounty campaigns are jot for earning they can just support is for a while but you will never make a fortune on them

I think that in the end the coins from the bounty you can use for sale are exchanged to get money, but if the gift you get is from a platform that has a store you can also use it to exchange it. To exchange it in the form of your money, it is enough to be USD or BTC and anti-exchange for an exchange service.
