There is no substitute for education.  The contribution of education to build a healthy society is undeniable.  So we all should give more emphasis on education.  Moreover, creativity can change society.  The more creative people can be, the better the society will be.  Everyone should think creatively and introduce creativity to the world.  Education and practical creativity can make a society better and better.  When higher education and creativity work together, society will develop more quickly and be better suited to keep pace with the world.

We can better our society by promoting education, inclusivity, sustainability, empathy & social justice. By providing access to quality education, creating an inclusive environment, encouraging sustainable practices, showing empathy and kindness towards others & pushing social justice we can work towards a more equitable & compassionate society. Community engagement, mental health support, ethical leadership, conflict resolution & responsible consumption play crucial roles in improving our society. By prioritising these areas we can create positive change & strive for a better future for all of us.

Obeying the rules and regulations that governed the society can make you better your society that will make upcoming children in the society will like to follow your steps in the society to be a type of people will bear a good name that will make the society to live to remember them forever.

Forcing our children to go to school to learn how to read and write, so that they will become a better people that will bring progress to the society and also make others people to believe that education is the key to success.

I have a principal that I always share, especially when we are discoursing on how to became better in our society or how the society at large can became better. I will always say ' be the change that you want'. I always say this because I believe that we should practice what we say or believe.

I agree that education is a very important tool to achieving this. Because if people are educated they can have a better understanding on how to contribute positively to the society. Most religions teach about morals, so yes, religion too in my own opinion is also a positive way to better the society.

Finally, demanding from our leaders to be accountable for their actions in office is another way to better the society.

Charity they say begins at home, for we as individuals to make our society a better place we have to leave an examplary life by making people around us feel a sense of belonging, impacting the life of people positively making them to believe that there are rewards attached to good work, also seeing every one equal no matter the class we feel the belong to, finding a good techniques in resolving conflict in the society if their is any, in summary all this and somany not mentioned here has to be applied in other to get it right.

Yeah in short be a good example for everyone, especially for the young generations for them to adapt a good quality of a citizens. Those you've mentioned is actually a good examples for being a responsible and good member of a country. We all know that some people couldn't even follow those simple rules due to their own reasons. If that's the case I would recommend to educate kids show them the reality of scum in the society. There's also one thing you didn't mentioned which is don't be blind in injustice for your own comfortability. Fight for your rights and eliminate scums.

We can all make society better by individual collective role and responsibilities. Everyone has a role to play towards the betterment, me and you are reponsible to make it better place for all. It is collective effort of everyone with expected role and responsibilities in an appropriate way, time and manner.

Other ways are functionalist perspective where all the social structures are in function and discharge their various roles and responsibilities e.g like the religion, political, Media, police, prison, economy e.t.c  are so reliable there will be better society.

Depending whom you ask, they may tell you that you are wrong or right.
Because it is debatible who is supposed to take care of the necessities of those less fortunate in our society. Are they supposed to live thanks to the duty of the state or the charity and will of the communities they inhabit. ?

Your idea is sound. Don't advise all neighbors of the neighborhood to get guns. But, do what I said.

1. Form a NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH. These are people of the neighborhood getting together to protect each other. If some neighborhood jokers don't want to be part of the NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH, expel them from the meeting. Then, after you have an understanding with your GOOD neighbors, and they become part of the Neighborhood watch according to good rules, then...

2. Get the guns, and get some shooting practice in. Protect each other. If you have bad guys in the neighborhood, those who don't want to be part of the NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH, they already have guns and you need to protect yourselves from them.

I will not advice all the neighbors of the neighborhood to have a gun, not every one is psychologically stable to own a gun, there are too many shoot outs these days to increase the number of guns in the street.

Best ways to better society... in this order:
1. Form a neighborhood watch;
2. Get all the neighbors of the neighborhood watch to buy guns, and help them to become proficient in using their guns... lots of target practice;
3. Shut down government.

Few ways we can better our society is by being sincere to each other loving and supporting one another and also trust is a number one priority for a safe society and concerning issues like insecurity if there is trust among the citizens information will be provided to security agencies against robbery and kidnapping around the neighborhood, education is also a key to a successful and peaceful society

Living at peace to enjoy settlement within the members of the society is our individual responsibility that we must carry to ensure things were dine in an orderly manners that promote the grouwth and development of the community, when everyone does the right thing, peace will because because love coexist among the people under the same settlement, everyone takes the affairs of each other as if it were theirs, this will make things been done in an orderly manner and the society will be conducive for a living.

The first step is to trace how the society came about, because we can't get it right. If we don't the history of the society. The society came from the family to community then form the society. So if we must get it right,we must go back to the family level to correct it, if we can get it right at the family level,then the community will change for good, then, the society Will be better for us to Live. Often times we forgot that the family and community are the major components of the society that needed more concern. E.g if a child can't be control by his parents,who in the community would that child respect or obey? Nobody. Then he will such disrespectful act to school to influence his peers.

The society can only get better, when we all do what's right when no one is there to monitor us.  The problem we have is that, we preach what we can't practice or don't practice. We must match our words with action for betterment.

You are right OP. I had the same mindset when I was a kid until I realized that we live in a different world where greed, power, religion, race, and politics are keeping us apart from becoming an ideal world.

As long as we all have different opinions being united will be a struggle. This is why we implement laws, rules and regulations in order for us to reach certain understanding so that different opinions may not lead to bigger events that could cause human extinction. I agree that we are part of a bigger picture and each one of us contributes the certain aspects, it is also true that it took us thousands of years to reach understanding we currently live today, but as far as I'm concern and what I can notice, people don't really care about other people if that person doesn't greatly brings benefit to them, like what you've said during the pandemic, we surely noticed that person's attitude varies differently, while there are people wanting to save their own skin, there're also who became the pillar to help someone in need. What I greatly realized during those times is that, the kindness of people would only show up once there is big event that involves survival and humanity, coz admit it or not, during those times that was the only time humanity showed what real humanity means.

As we all know education is very important in our society not only to help improve their minds but also the idea of giving them enough experience if they we're going out in the society which you will encounter different kinds of race and their ethnicities.

For me we can't let the children choose of what they really want since as what you have said they're still young people which their minds is still confused of what is happening in the real world, education is there to help and teaches them improve, develop and enhance their own capabilities.

This is a great concept of education that I think will help the society to be better. Once this is happening kids will have excitement and joy on going to school since the subject they are taking are what they want to learn and interested. Honestly speaking since I already finished college and know what the kids will going through in their education journey, I can say its really hard to learn things we are not interested. Its a sad truth because many country dont have freedom in different aspect. Government are like showing that you can speak what you want to say but after they hearing your side and they know that its against them, its where violence starts. Yes, I agree that every macro effect that you want to see which in this case on the society should always start on micro efforts by making ourselves be the good example to everyone through being a better one. We as a citizen have the responsibility on our society and if we want it to be a progressive one, we should always strive to do the common good while making yourself a better version. Education is useless when we have these celebrities all around the internet today doing things that aren't good and they are also influencing the children about their behaviors. Just a few days ago, I saw a video where a little boy cried because he can't find a partner, Imagine this is how social media affect our kids and they only act like this because their parent just let them see everything on the internet and don't really care to advise them, they let the YouTubers inject perceptions in their kid's mind and no matter how educated the kids are, if they always see such kinds of the environment at their home, they are more likely become like that and we never fix the problem of our society today we just making it worse.

You are absolutely right Education is 100% the bedrock for modern civilization and the foundation for every level of accomplishment in life., education creates a wide margin between the have and the have not.

-If you see an uneducated fellow, you will notice the way and manner in which they do things are far different from how an educated fellow will handle the same situation,  and also just as you have mentioned,  education is the key to opening every door of adventures.

What constitute a society is coming together of many families including fathers, mothers and children, now if every parents can say "change begins with me" and it is effective than leaders of the society can have a say. Parents have a lot of roles to play in times of a better society, that is upbringing of their children.

Trying to make the society a better place starts with making your own bed every morning when you wake up, that is to say that making the world a better place starts from you. If you have a sense of responsibility, you will not litter your environment, you will keep public and government property in good condition whenever you use it and you will obey government rules.

They have failed to invest in quality education in my country because their children school abroad. Politicians prefer to loot funds for their future generations instead of investing in the future of the nation.
