So, your deposit did get taken care of and you lied to a business website?
I test it with another account and deposit 3, it did not get credited lol even after multiple messages to the support.
This is not a business website, it is a ponzi scam.
honestly i have not even seen the site and i am not here to support them or defend them directly, but i will say this
when we started to involve bitcoin in our main business channels we ran into a bunch of things that make it inconsistent at times
i assume that they use an online wallet/api to handle your money and the money from other people and the issue with doing that is that you need to maintain a decent bankroll. i have seen through our api one deposit fly through and another take ten hours with nearly the same amount and network fees, this can happen to any set of transactions on the blockchain, business or not
what we had to do was alter the system a bit, and think out the security to make it work better. the basics of any site is that you make your deposit to one of several addresses on the owners main wallet, if you are new to the system a database entry makes that your address and when you log in the balance for the address is shown to you. both you and another person can drop in $10 and while your done in 15 minutes, the blockchain makes his take hours
we handled it two different ways on different sites. on one, we credited your account the minute that the deposit got a TX ID and backed that deposit with our bankroll if needed, every client got their deposit in about five minutes. once the TX got three confirmations, our database changed a simple flag and we knew we were good. the issue with that was that you could withdraw that amount before we ever got the money and a decent hacker could spoof the deposit and then run with the money, that site was a high level investment site and it never happened
the second way we solved the issue was identical to the first, but we would not let the other site users withdraw unless the TX was confirmed, again a simple database flag
i have no idea what is up with this site, but i wanted you to see some of the things that site owners can be dealing with. imagine a client wanting their money and you have not even gotten it yet. you support every deposit that comes in with business cash and your margins are so far out there it is crazy. our credit card processors always took 4 hours to have our money ready, the blockchain is more random and the business model needs to compensate for that, also the customers needs to understand that not everything is perfect with bitcoin and not every dime is there within an hour
