Alright so I've been running this contest with some irl friends for a few years (WC, EC & CL) and figured I'd give it a go here as well.

The rules are simple: Predict the outcome of each game in the groupstages of the World Cup.

I have spreadsheets that I will send out to each participant and after each finished round I'll update everyones score here.

The point system is as follows:

Correct result: 8 points
Correct winner: 3 points
Correct amount of goals on either side: 1 point

So in the first game between Russia and Saudi Arabia let's say I'd predict it to end 3-0 in favor of Russia. Now if the game ends 3-0 I'd get 8 points. If the game ends 2-0 I'd get 4 points (3 points for the correct winner and 1 point for the 0 goals that Saudi Arabia scored). If it were to end 0-0 I'd only get 1 points and if SA wins I'd get 0 points.

It's that simple. At the end of the group stages the ones with the most points wins/splits the prize depending on amount of participants.

There could also be some bonus points awarded if you pick the highest/lowest scoring team throughout the groupstages as well as the highest scoring player, but more on that if we'd like to do it.

So, this is more of an interest check. If we can get at least 10 people involved we are good to go! I'm thinking a 0.025 or less entry fee but that can be up for debate as well.
