I think that South America should have more slots than just 4.5.

Brazil and Argentina, both still undefeated, are just so much better than the rest so they pretty much always qualify leaving only 2.5 slots for 8 pretty competitive teams.

Maybe they can do something like in 2006 when Australia who used to be always number one in the OFC moved into the AFC to have a more competitive OFC.

I am a bit worried if not almost scared.
How safe will the world cup be ? Putin has already said there will be no World Cup without Russia, has this also been a pain in your chest ?
I hope the security there gets doubled up! Stop invasion and let's make the world a better place.

It's not like Russia outperforms most countries and they would be on the ground without them. Putin is trying to intimidate the world and he knows that he can start a nuclear war and if he does no one is going to win. There are people already returning back to Kharkiv, people who settled anywhere else, they are all going back to Ukraine as well, if they are not intimidated we should not be as well. Everyone does have to be strong and have to show them that the World can function well without Russia. It's not a necessity. I don't think you should be worried about it at all! It doesn't matter about security if he does want to do something he would definitely try and use nuclear weapons and the guy already have parkinson's and I think he forgot that the world is round and he is next to US, so very close.

I think that Peru has a lot to play for, and it is most likely that it will have to play Australia, on previous occasions when Uruguay has had to go to the playoffs it has had to play against Australia most of the time, I don't know but for me Australia It can always give a kind of surprise, Peru had a very hard time qualifying, from one moment to another I knew that on the way to the World Cup they had to beat a key team and that team was Venezuela, when they won they should not lose any, even so the fight was between Chile and Colombia, but the conviction of the Peruvians made them qualify for their playoff games.

I wonder if Peru will reach its objective to be able to participate in this World Cup, the countries heading to this directly are in my opinion quite good, but I am more inclined towards Brazil because of its trajectory, this in terms of South America.
Yes, Peru is classified, but they aren't a strong candidate for winning the cup or reaching too far on the competition. From South America the results are usually quite predictable: Brazil and Argentina are the countries which reach further (between quarter-finals to finals), although Uruguay has an underrated national team, which always do their best with a lot of sacrifice and effort to reach one step further on world cups.
Peru still needs to play a qualification game against the Winner of UAE vs Australia. Peru is likely the favorite in this fight though, even the weakest South American teams are a serious threat to most Asian or African teams

The qualified team will then end up in the group with France, Denmark and Tunisia. If it'll be Peru, then I think they actually have a chance to advance the group stage. They would need a win against Denmark and of course Tunisia, which likely is the weakest team here.

As far as I know Peru vs Brazil is the strongest team in South America, both of them want to win tickets for the 2022 World Cup this time, even though the qualifying results have been held for both peru and brazil, even though peru have only got one point, Peru is still in fifth place, in the 2022 world cup standings.

Now the problem is, as far as i know it is no longer in the power of peru and brazil, these are the two strong teams at the moment, I think both of them can enter the 2022 World Cup, of course Qatar needs only one team to enter to compete in the World Cup later.

Between Brazil and Peru, if I predict that the 2022 World Cup in Qatar will be Brazil, Peru will not, the reasons are: Brazil can get support and be strengthened by some top players such as: Neymar, Roberto, Philippe, Danilo and several others, why do I dare to say that, because they all have high flying hours in the European zone, that's why I trust Brazil more than Peru to Qatar this time.

In these qualifiers Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay and Ecuador obtained their entrance directly while Peru obtained the fifth position gaining the right to compete again with another federation.

Peru can get into the top 5 because they were able to beat Paraguay who has competed in the World Cup quite often. From the news circulating, Peru will fight representatives from the Asian continent in the playoffs (13-14 June 2022) later. this match is big thing for peru.

After having to wait a long season due to the pandemic to be able to fight for a place in the most important soccer event, the 2022 World Cup, an event that has been held every 4 years since 1930, excluding 1942 and 1946 due to the Second World War; The South American countries Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Venezuela, Paraguay, Argentina, Ecuador, Uruguay and Bolivia, faced the last CONMEBOL classification in which the 4 best that would go to Qatar would be defined, with an additional fifth place that will play a playoff.
In these qualifiers Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay and Ecuador obtained their entrance directly while Peru obtained the fifth position gaining the right to compete again with another federation.

In the World Cup there are only the following quotas per continent:

ASIA: 4.5 QUOTES
AFRICA: 5 QUOTES
NORTH AMERICA, CENTRAL AMERICA AND THE CARIBBEAN: 3.5 QUOTES

SOUTH AMERICA: 4.5 QUOTS
OCEANIA: 0.5 QUOTS
EUROPE: 13 QUOTS
