You could check out Pinnacle. Although I've not used their services but I hear they have the best reputation their odds are generally very good too. Their list includes League of Legends, Overwatch, DOTA 2, and CSGO. Interesting Handicap bets, Money Line bets and Total bets are some of the betting offered by Pinnacle.

One downside of using Pinnacle is that there's no sign up bonuses and their services are not available in the US or UK due to their taxation policies on betting and gambling sites.

~snip~ Except for Dota2, mobile legends has a huge fan base bettors these days.
Mobile legends is quite new MOBA game in the market and in the last few years they gain lots of fans particularly in asian region, even if I recall correctly they have held its world tournament twice so far but I didn't know there are fans who betting in this game? Did they bet through an organization/group or is there any betting site that lists this game out there?
Its already 4 years now my friend: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mobile_Legends:_Bang_Bang
Yeah I know, I also play this game from late 2017 until last year. Four years might be considered as quite new I guess

Gg.bet
Are you sure about this one? Have checked it by myself and I didn't find mobile legends was on their list

Anyway thanks for the recommendations, I think we should stop talking about mobile legends before it goes be more off-topic from the initial purpose of discussion

Games are downgraded and scammed because they don't last very long This is why gamblers find it annoying. There are several betting sites online that offer bets on a wide range of sports including cricket and football most of these are less likely to be country based scams in england the united states australia or other countries where gambling is legal. The gameplay of DOTA2 is much more guaranteed and the games have been going on for a long time.
That's cause some of the games don't have the full story and developers needs a lot of time before they can do everything. Also what scam are you talking about?

Since there is a scarcity of E-Sports fighting games, maybe you can organize something like that and invite people who have the same interest as you and you can create the boat that is needed to play and accept those bets on behalf of both parties. Unless there's already in the famous sports betting sites with this, I think it's not going to be hard.

Organize a tournament, I think it would be way more fun.
That's actually a good idea but the problem is, the organization is probably a hell to do because if just a nobody with no organization or group does a tournament like that even if it's a small tournament, it's close to impossible to do it alone.

That would be risky and I'm sure that most players would prefer to choose legit and trusted sites rather than organizing a tournament. However, there are small and legit groups that offer E-sports betting but still quite risky especially if the organizers aren't that reputable or well-known. Except for Dota2, mobile legends has a huge fan base bettors these days.
Well, of course, that's always going to be the best case knowing that it's a reputable site compared to some unknown entity that suddenly organized something to that extent. Anyway, where do you find that "legit" group that you are talking about? I'm quite interested in having to check those things. Maybe get quick money to something you can afford to lose.

Yep, League of Legends is still the most played in tournament, for sure. I wonder how long would it last.
Are they really the most played tournament? It's not as big as DOTA2 though. It will last a really long time, long as there are new players that continuous to play these games and it pumps more pro players to do this tournaments, it will last for a really long time.

I only think that many teenagers are playing Street Fighters or Tekken so I can not imagine if a gambling site involves in this game and make the game be used for bet. Maybe we will see teenagers playing gambling with their money and if that happens, the number of addicted people to gambling will increase. Maybe we will see that in the future but with strict rules and teenagers can not join in that tournament, that is not possible because teenagers can use adult identity to join the tournament.
that's where you are wrong a lot of adults ranging from the early twenties to their thirties grew up playing these games, so don't be surprised if adults are still playing it competitively/PRO. Tekken or streetfighters not being popular as a sports betting has nothing to do with the player's age, it's just that there is not enough audience who are willing to bet on it and make it as popular as LOL, DOTA, CSGO, and other popular Esport games.
I would not be surprised if adult people play that game because they want nostalgia. Street Fighters, Tekken, DOTA, LOL, is a game that can remind them how happy they played in the past. Maybe Street Fighters and Tekken are not too popular than the other game, but still, they have its fan that wants to remember the old time. Maybe those games will become popular if they upgrade their game using better graphics like the other game to attract other people to play it.

The games that have the best possibilities are those that are currently top in the eSports as some people around said. This is becoming really big in terms of market size, with growths that resemble those of Facebook and WhatsApp at its best. DOTA 2 and League of Legends seem to be the most played in tournaments with prices in the range of million USD. Betting should follow and you will no doubt be able to find reputable sites soon if they are not already there. Perhaps having a look at the organisers webs could lead you there.

As per some articles, if compared to other E-sports games, the number of people that betting on those games isn't that high. Also not as profitable as betting on League of Legends and DOTA 2.

You can refer to @carlfebz response although researching about the reputation of those sites should be on you. I'm not sure though if those sites are accepting cryptocurrencies so take a time looking at those or else, just try the fiat betting.
Be careful the link in your post is a phishing page. Sportsbooks listed on this page don't provide markets for Mortal Kombat and the links toward those sportsbooks are hidden referral links in addition. You should check more carefully this kind of links before posting them, because fakenews page providing referral links are very common in the gambling area.

It's not a phishing page but rather a review website and we can always expect that those websites are including their referral link together with their reviews just like other review websites. Almost 95% of review websites are like that. I didn't mentioned that page for site suggestions to the OP but rather a source to my statement. I even used the word "article".

Adding to that, it's not with the betting site that's why I put that link but it's a reference to my statement that games like Mortal Kombat don't have a big market that's why we won't see much of a listings about it. There's also a disclaimer on my last post.

I trust newbies and I'm sure they won't just try to use those listed sites. I mean, it's a no-brainer to just sign-up and deposit without a reason.

Anyhow, thank you. Wink

You are right but that shouldn't stop betting sites from adding fighting games like this in their roster because they still have a considerable amount of crowd and you don't want to miss out on that crowd because there's potential clients out there, waiting to discover their site.

Just believe in it as there's a chance it will happen.

I know someday that those games will now be included in the gambling market.

Since it's a 1v1 game, the process might be long but with the support of audiences, it will someday make a sound in the world of E-sports. Even it can't be compared to the likes of strategy-based and MOBA games, these games start as small and patiently wait to become big ones.

Not familiar with any of these games except for Mortal Kombat. Haven't seen any tournaments of these games but I did check some of them and I think assuming the general populace that watches these tournaments, I don't think that there won't be a lot of people who will do betting on this kind of games in gambling or betting platforms.

That's a bit sad if you think about it because last time I have watched the matches were really good and the zoning characters have a meta where they combine melee and range to perform unique combo strings. That's actually a bit sad because I think that they have a really good thing going with them because they are a good fighting game.
There are some matches that have this kind of gameplay but the sad thing is it's flooded with those boring patience and zoning matches that I sometimes question whether they are pro or not.

Injustice 2 tournaments are boring nowadays, most so called pro players are only playing zoning characters(characters who are using range attacks) and spam their range skills to chip out the damage and I find it boring because no good play comes out of it plus the game becomes stale because the other side either has to be patient and slowly strike or spam the same stuff but both don't have anything good come out of it. I hope that a new meta in Injustice could save the game but given how NRS are making another game, I don't think that they plan to do something about it and let the players figure it themselves.

Dude, fighting games have a really good player base and they have a lot of good players that are always competing in the scene that's why I asked if there's a site that hosts one and I thank everyone who replied to this thread, I appreciate every answer.
There not many betting sites that list eSport games with such kind of genre, most of them only accept mainstream genres like MOBA or fps games. Don't get me wrong, I don't say that fighting games had a small fan base or anything but it couldn't be denied that fighting game has less fan base if we compared to those mainstream games.

However, you may check unikrn.com[1]. It has a huge eSport betting list includes the games that you are looking for (Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, and Injustice 2), the good thing is they also accept betting with Bitcoin and other altcoins, good luck.

Most crypto sportsbooks don't offer much variety on esports so you'll rarely see fighting games on their lists, I remember Nitrogensports was able to put up some lines for Tekken back then.
Exactly. Most crypto bookies are into sports rather than eSports (CS:GO, DOTA2, LOL etc.) but I guess most fiat related bookies. Google is your friend here there are variety of gambling review sites out there that may help you the right bookie offering this but KYC will be mostly done in this case. I guess Tekken and Street Fighter has enough traffic but for Mortal Kombat that would be too rare for a bookie to add.
No you're wrong, markets on e-sports contests are available at all the main crypto-sportsbooks, especially for the video games you mentioned. I think e-sports are certainly more popular through the crypto gamblers than the fiat ones, then it would be a mistake from them to not address this need of their users. Unfortunately there is no big competitions for the fighting games quoted in the OP, then except the few ones mentioned above in the thread(22bet, 1xbet, 1xbit, melbet, betwinner, asprobet,...), no fiat or crypto bookies offer markets for them AFAIK.

ESports are actually available in many crypto betting sites. Of course there are only limited odds for eSports compared to other sports, but it is not because betting sites prefer sports more than eSports. It is because eSports is very limited compared to other sports. ESports events are also very limited. And also, not all of them have a large body of followers, much less gamblers. Especially with the games mentioned which are considered old, fans are not as many as before.

yep, and as far as I know, there are tournaments for Street Fighters and Tekken(even Tetris has tournaments). but just like what you said, the gambling market for it is not that big that's why there are rarely any sportsbooks that cater to it.

Great idea. But I'm a little doubtful about my understanding, I'm afraid I'll be wrong. What is meant here is like Mobile Legend, PUBG and the like. If so, does the position regarding it already have a running league. If there might be good for variety. With a note not the players who gamble but the gamblers who bet on the team's victory in a league.

GG.Bet
ArcaneBet
Rivalry
Thunderpick
22Bet

You can search up usually Mortal Kombat can be found on 22Bet.. Some would be supporting crypto and some arent.
So choose on what suits you out.
I've checked all these sportsbooks but except 22Bet none of them is currently offering markets for those fighting games. Then I don't understand why you quoted them. Is it because they are only offering markets for these games every now and then or did they use to provide them but they've stopped since then? Anyway, is 22Bet a recommended sportsbook from what you know?

I also doubt with the arcade games like street fighter, Tekken even though this is one of the best arcade games in history, still people are not playing this anymore because of the technology grows a lot and this is why its hard to find a crypto based site that offers this options.

Those classic games are being played right now but the gambling market for them isn't that big.

It doesn't matter whether more or fewer people will play those games or not since if it's about gambling, the viewers will only do betting for it.

Actually, it's not with the technology. I'm sure if the pandemic didn't hit the world, these games will continue to have a much bigger market while they are progressing. I've already watched some of the videos of those events, e.g Tekken, prior pandemic and they have a large audience on the venue.

Check this article https://www.topesportsbettingsites.com/games/mortal-kombat/ and you will possibly find the betting sites which offer the variety of choice that you are inquiring  here and quietly I'm surprise that  there's  betting options like this since I didn't know that we can bet on video games like the one you ask here. Oh by the way the one I search on google is mortal kombat only so kindly check if other games you ask are listed on the site suggested by that article.
Be careful this page is scammy, most of the sportsbooks listed there don't offer any market for those video games. This is just a fakenews page to promote the referral links of the owner  Undecided I only know 1xbit and 1xbet for those markets as I said above, unfortunately they are untrustworthy, but you can at least watch the live streams of these e-sport contests there.

I haven't seen any crypto betting sites that offers bet from those games yet or maybe I missed some. I'm not sure but I think it doesn't have enough target market, and so most sports and Esports betting websites doesn't offer betting lines for those specific games.
Though I have seen some tournaments as I was once a Tekken 3,4, and 5 player.
What mostly betting websites are offering for eSports has been mentioned by most of the members here. Mostly MOBA and FPS/Battle royal games.

I don't think you will find betting for these games on crypto sportsbooks but you may have a better chance finding them at fiat ones. I believe right now most of the crypto sportsbooks have a common odds provider and there are mainly these esports you can bet on right now.

1- League of Legends
2- Dota2
3- Counter-Strike
4- King of Glory

Apart from these sometimes I have seen rocket leagues markets but rarely and I guess they only cover the bigger tournaments in such esports.
These are the common E-Sports that is available on some gambling site, I also doubt with the arcade games like street fighter, Tekken even though this is one of the best arcade games in history, still people are not playing this anymore because of the technology grows a lot and this is why its hard to find a crypto based site that offers this options.

Personally I don't know any crypto sportbooks offering markets for those video games except 1xbet and 1xbit  Undecided Unfortunately those 2 sportsbooks have a really bad reputation here, several members said they've been scammed by them. So I don't recommend you to use them to place big bets and to make substantial deposits there. At least if you have friends interesting to bet on this kind of games you can bet each other and use the sportsbooks to fix the odds and to get the results. You can also watch the live streams there without having to be enrolled AFAIK.

I'm one of the fans of the fighting games and I know what you feel if there's a way to bet on those games. Maybe you're also liking the same game as mine like King of Fighters '98. I only watch Youtube videos of these matches including the few games that you've mentioned.
I hope that some of the common esports bookie will have them on list.
KoF still exists? I only have a glimpse of that game in an arcade that got raided by the police. I grew up with Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter although I am just a casual that can't even land a good combo string. Injustice 2 is what I am more curious because I have watched some games in Youtube and it has a really different mechanic compared to MK or SF because the winner of the first round gets rewarded by his/her remaining life bar for the first round and their clash mechanic.

Are there any betting sites that are offering odds for fighting games like Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, Tekken or Injustice 2 out there? Kind of like watching competitive of this games and trying to do bets with it and my friend is asking if there's one so in a way, this is his question that I am relaying.

Thank you for sharing this article, there is quite a lot to see actually. Although I am curious if anyone has ever known this site before and had an actual experience betting with such? Anyone who had such experience, I would love to hear your stories. And I think that gamblers who are also E-Sports lovers will do as well.

Dude, fighting games have a really good player base and they have a lot of good players that are always competing in the scene that's why I asked if there's a site that hosts one and I thank everyone who replied to this thread, I appreciate every answer.

Are you talking about esports? There are few sites that I think offer e-sports betting, but only on games very popular and has a very good player base. It's rare though, so I doubt you will find any casinos offering odds for the games that you have mentioned. Would be fun if there was a casino that offered odds for those fighting games, but instead of real people playing those games, its CPU vs CPU (AI vs AI). It's going to be really unpredictable.

Never really bothered to look for some so I'm not sure, but try looking up sportsbook when Evo comes in, should be rather easy to see if they actually accept it or not. Evo 2021 starts at the beginning of August, so maybe you can check their announcements out then when the roster comes out, then sportsbook would probably start accepting bets for it by then.

Though I highly doubt it actually has one, since the tourney is open for all and a LOT of players would probably enter by then. Fighting games encourage a lot of players to enter and join tourneys since it's rather quick after all, compared to FPS and MOBA competitive matches.

The problem is trust.

Do, anyone on the internet want to place a bet on someone who doesn't have credibility or service how do they trust him? I guess, is hard or even just like an impossible task for me.
This could be also a result of  "match-fixing", even huge e-sports games these days are still experiencing match-fixing, which this match-fixing is 99% gambling/money involved.
One of the bases for sure of sportsbooks that are catering e-Sports is first the gameplay, mechanics of a game, and for sure the community of the game which is a very big help for them to get more gamblers and result in a profit for them.

These are classic games, but they aren't so popular nowadays at the point of being included in common gambling platforms. If you search terms like the game you want and betting word on the same sentence you will see many sites offering such bets, however they are fiat gambling platforms and since you are at bitcointalk forum I suppose you are looking for crypto gambling platforms, right?
Maybe there are closed groups and communities of fans on discord or youtube which promote betting on these fighting games you mentioned.

The market maybe on those games aren't that huge that's why it wasn't considered yet to list by the crypto-betting sites. Usually, those only popular in E-sports.

For now, you can just continue bets against your friend although I don't know where you can play that physically as like here in my place, video games stations, even on malls are like a ghost town as it's not allowed to be open in public and those machines are just left there hanging together with others game slots.

I haven't found a site that does provide bets for games like street fighter at this time, but I personally prefer to bet on Dota games and also counter strikes, because I think bets in dota games are relatively easier for us to win because we can win easily if us know the info on the team that we are hold, and usually I will prefer the Money Line betting form in esports tournaments.
Nowadays we can easily find some information about the playing team, so that we can choose the team that we think has the potential to win, because usually gambling sites only make big and prestigious tournament tournaments for gambling.
^Probably because these Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, Tekken, or Injustice 2 games are very old games, and it seems this game is only 1 vs 1 battle. The most common game that has on E-sports gambling are those the player is 5 vs 5 per team. Versus battle is not common in tournaments and I think that is the reason betting on these games does not exist. Nevertheless, I don't see any information on the internet upon searching this, and probably if there is a betting platform like this only where the bettors only know about their bet and not on the public.

The games metioned are video games and I doubt if online casinos have such gambling options in their catalog. Except for video Gaming centres that includes gambling options at their hubs. But I guess ps5 should have such option though but am not really sure about it

Actually you could use a decentralised service like Augur. There you can place a prediction and others are able to bet against you. I think there are already a lot of alternatives to Augur, but it is still the most famous. Of course maybe you can find a bookie offering such bets, but let's stay in crypto heaven.

Nope, never find that.

Is quite rare due the demands not pretty big like MOBA or FPS game. So since the demands not really good, I gues that the reason why some sportsbook/casino doesn't want to add the match. Did you ever ask to the game community of that game? maybe you can find something from there but remember always check everything for the website.

Video game competitions fall under a ESPORTS category of gambling.

I have seen and bet on counterstrike only to satisfy my curiosity on how odds were calculated. Can't say I've delved into the topic deeply enough to know how common it is for fighting genre games to be covered by bookies and sportsbooks.

Nitrogensports currently lists: counterstrike, league of legends, DOTA2, valorant, call of duty, starcraft 2, overwatch, rainbow 6, king of glory and FIFA.

It would seem those games are the ones with the most gambling and league support.

If you are looking for a sports betting gambling site that provides games like you said a lot, but I can't guarantee that the site is fair, safe or not.

In this forum there is a gambling site that offers a kind of game Mortal Kombat, Tekken, Street Fighter, etc.
But the sports betting site now has a bad reputation on this forum, many accusations of fraud.

If I may suggest to your friends, look for sites that have a good reputation for honest and general games (betting) as can be available on certain sports sites.

Most crypto sportsbooks don't offer much variety on esports so you'll rarely see fighting games on their lists, I remember Nitrogensports was able to put up some lines for Tekken back then.

Right now there's no scheduled tournament so you won't see any odds for fighting games but once EVO starts next month I suggest to keep an eye out on these esport bookies Nitrogensports, Sportsbet, and Cloudbet.
