Thx guys. I did find the wallet file by browsing as nc501c suggested. However it wouldn't open, so then I went back to Electrum site and installed a new wallet. This time I choose "windows installer" (as Abdussamad suggested) rather than "stand alone" which I used the first time. With this installation I got an icon on my desktop and it works, so I'm a happy camper. I really appreciate both of you taking the time to help me out.

If the executable was lost or deleted, the data including the wallet must still be intact in the default location as long as it is not a portable (removable disk) version.
Just install or open another (Stand-alone version) Electrum wallet and it should open to the default location which is your %appdata% directory.

Or just browse to this location: (Windows Disk)C:\Users\(Your Username)\AppData\Roaming\Electrum (hidden by default)
Then look for wallet_1 / default_wallet or your wallet's name (that should be your wallet).

your seed is not stored on the electrum website. it's only stored on your wallet file.

search for the program on your PC. most likely you didn't use the installer version so it didn't create shortcuts. perhaps downloading and installing the installer version will be easier?

Just created an Electrum wallet using my Windows 10 desktop. Logged out. Then tried to find a link to my wallet somewhere on my computer with no luck. Is the only way to access my wallet is via the seed on Electrum's website?
