Looks like it's a lucky guess of seoincorporation since the only clue of the wallet being old in the OP is: he's trying to claim BTG which is a quite old fork, there's no clue in case of "imported address scenario".
I too was thinking as much when I saw this thread, because I was unable to see private key on blockchain wallet, only address can someone be able to see, not even address but a QR code to master public key. If someone will need to find out his blockchain wallet private keys, he will need a BIP39 private key extracting tool for that, Iancoleman will be the perfect fit for that, or the seed phrase can be imported on a wallet that can reveal the private keys of easch addresses, just like on electrum which can also reveal the private keys.

It seems that they have updated their wallet because in the past it was difficult to export your private key directly and need to use iancoleman.
Is there an option to export all private keys or do I need to do this manually for each address?
I'm sure it's the vice versa, OP's wallet may be old or the address was imported because it's the new wallets that need BIP39 tool to export individual keys.
New wallets, those created today up to (2017?) update doesn't have that "PrivKey" option.
Only the 'imported addresses' and addresses from legacy blockchain.info wallets are the ones with the option to export PrivKey .

Looks like it's a lucky guess of seoincorporation since the only clue of the wallet being old in the OP is: he's trying to claim BTG which is a quite old fork, there's no clue in case of "imported address scenario".

To get your private keys in the blockchain wallet, you need to click the top right gear > Wallets & Addresses:

Yes, that works, now I have it. Thank you very much.  Grin
Just a heads up, move your bitcoin funds (if there is) to a new wallet before importing your private key to a new device/wallet for security reasons.

Thanks, I have long ago moved all my funds out of my Blockchain wallet. I am just using it now to claim other coins.

Indeed, why not just try changing the wallet to another and try to restore access in the same way on another device (for example: with a different operating system ") of a more recent version and, or vice versa, try to roll back to the old one. + Keep writing to support. I'm sure one of these methods or those that have been described above will help you. The main thing is not to despair and do not give up. I think your efforts and efforts in the end will be rewarded with access to the desired wallet.

If you zoom out the page then you would be able to click on the manage link, to zoom out click 'Ctrl -' or click Ctrl and scroll down on the page.  This way the manage button should go up  Wink

I think seoincorporation is using mobile phone to access it.

I wasn't using mobile, I was on google chrome when I take the screenshots. I verify and I'm able to get my private keys that way.

The problem is this. The screen will not let me move down.

This is a glitch I have already complained about to Blockchain months ago, but they did not reply.

I am using a desktop PC and the problem exists for Windows 8 and 10, Firefox and Chrome.

The "Help" button is just below "Manage". It simply will not let you go below (i.e. scroll down) to click on "Private key"!

I know this sounds weird, but it is true.

Basically, the [? Help] thing is right over where the private key option should pop up. It is right over it and so I cannot get into this option.

I am not using Blockchain.com wallet, but there is still a recommended way you can have access to your private key. But this will require you to know the address you have the fund before the hard fork occured (you can track the addresses on blockchain explorer).

You will need to run https://iancoleman.io/bip39/ offline.

Quote
Offline Usage
You can use this tool without having to be online.
In your browser, select file save-as, and save this page as a file.
Double-click that file to open it in a browser on any offline computer.
Alternatively, download the file from the latest GitHub release - https://github.com/iancoleman/bip39/releases/latest/

The address on blockchain.com wallet are legacy addresses (addresses that start from 1).

Procedure
After you have Iancoleman offline
Input your seed phrase from blockchain.com wallet
Note: If passphrase is added while generating the wallet (then it is required also)
Then, scroll down, you will see Derivation path, it is BIP44 by default
Scroll until you see the legacy addresses generated.
Then, scroll front to see the addresses, public keys and the corresponding private keys.

You can then get the private key you want. Likely the private key will be the first address. But, you can confirm any of the address to know if it has forked coins on blockchain explorer. But, it is more likely not beyond one of the first 20 addresses.

That is exactly what I am doing, but my screen is completely different to what you have uploaded for me.
As far as I know, Blockchain.com doesn't allow to export private keys anymore. You'll need to get them from your seed phrase.

While you're hunting Forks, don't forget the others.

When I click "Manage" it does not give me any of the options which you show (I am using Windows on a PC, by the way).

It just takes me to another page with all of what I have described, namely:

Private Key Wallet [Default]                    More Options [which offers "Edit Name" or "Show xPub"]
Did you press on the 'private key wallet' to see if it will pop up the private key?

I think seoincorporation is using mobile phone to access it.

Hello. I am trying to claim my Bitcoin Gold using a Coinomi wallet.

I am trying to sweep the private key from my Blockchain wallet, as this is where my BTC was when the fork occurred.

But I cannot find the private key in my Blockchain wallet. It gives me the "extended public key" for BTC, but all that is written under Bitcoin is: Private Key Wallet [default]. I cannot click on this to find my private key.

Under Ethereum in my "wallets and addresses" it lets me see a private key with no problem. But not for BTC.

Can anyone help me? Or does private key here mean the seed?

To get your private keys in the blockchain wallet, you need to click the top right gear > Wallets & Addresses:

After that, on the right side you will see the manage button, if you click it it will give the private keys option:

And that's how to get your privatekeys from the blockchain wallet, I hope this helps buddy.
