I like Andy McKee the most. He's the best in fingerstyle. Also Tommy Emmanuel is good too, but he plays with a pick

To learn to play guitar, I prefer john petrucci. You can search tab in guitar pro 5 if not on youtube. There are many tabs that can be learned

Hello! I was just wondering if there are any other fingerstyle guitarists here? I really enjoy playing the guitar using this technique and I am hoping that some of you can give me some tips to help me improve my skills. Also I would like to ask if you guys know some sites that offer free and cool tabs? Thanks guys I'd appreciate your replies.  Grin
When - that a long ago I played the guitar. Much to our regret, in course of time added caring and time to play did not remain. To you good luck in the improvement of the skills in playing the guitar.

I play classical guitar so it's impossible to play some rifs without to use fingerstyle.
I playing for the fun so I've never study with a teacher. You could try to see some videos on youtube for your first steps but if you like to overcome the indermediate level and play difficult songs then you have to study again and again with a teacher.

Well in my opinion mostly if you don't have that good voice to sing you can switch to fingerstyle that the guitar well sing according to the tune or the music. Personally I am also a guitarist but not that professional in terms of fingerstyle, sometimes when I am kinda bored i like playing fingerstyle, but the biggest problem for that is that you need to practice and master the tabs or familiarize each next tab in order to play it without fail and nicely.

Fingerstyle is a guitar technique necessary to master to play professionally. It's used by all the leading guitarists in the world including my favorite Ed Sheeran.

I'm not a guitar player anymore. I dropped playing guitar a few years ago and start playing drums. But as I played guitar I was fascinated by the fingerstyle players. Andy McKee is my favorite. There are a lot of crazy guys out there. You can search on Youtube "Impossible Guitar".

If you search Tabs I can recommend "Guitar Pro" that's a computer program where you can see tabs and the computer can play them for you. Try It

Keep on practice Smiley
