Would also want to see the transaction id, and know how much did the house cost !
But if it's really true, than it's a great news and hope that this continues this way, so when we have earned/invested a good amount of BTC, we can also buy a house with Bitcoin.
I believe this to be more normal, once bitcoin gets more stable, so still, some years till then.

Nice, but where is the source and the blockchain transaction?

I tried looking, but couldn't find it. This seems to be the source of the news:

https://www.market4cast.net/single-post/2017/09/18/First-Bitcoin-Real-Estate-Purchase-Recorded-in-Texas

I'm not entirely sure if it's a reputable site, but man would it be awesome if it were true. I wouldn't sell my house for bitcoins right now, but I would like to live in a world where it's a common practice.

Kuper Sotheby's International Realty is now the first brokerage in Texas to close on a home purchased entirely with Bitcoin. The transaction was for the purchase of a newly built home, and the full price was transferred to the seller/builder via Bitcoin. The seller then converted the cryptocurrency into USD.

How cool is that?  Smiley
