The project itself would be a great one, I am sure, but why chose BitCoinage as the name? I always have a bad feeling in a project that starts with "Bit...", I don't why. Lol.
PS. I agree that one of the worst part of current crypto is the security, and I don't think privacy coin is not even worth for a great security.
