Thanks for your comments, keep them coming!

Btw, what are the security loopholes? Can you suggest something a bit more robust? Preferably free and easy to implement on Wordpress!

Download 99Bitcoins plugin for WP. I am using it but again it is not secure from bot. You need to be cautious but it is really advance.

What ads would you recommend? And shortlinks? Any advice would be appreciated!
For new websites there aren't many options - I would recommend to try A-ads and Bitcoadz. But if you have good Alexa rank then you can join more high paying networks like Mellowads. About shortlinks - I don't have experience with them. Better to ask for faucet owners experiences.

Thanks LTU_btc, great suggestions that I'll look into.

Nice and clean faucet! And I think that 15 Satoshi every hour is decent reward.
But how you're planning to monetize faucet? Now I see only some affiliate banners and no ads. You should add some ads to survive. What I can suggest - maybe add optional shortlinks for users who want bigger rewards. And maybe add alternative captcha option that users would be able to choose their prefered captcha.

Thanks for your comments and very useful suggestions - I'll take a look at those. At the moment it's just a trial faucet which I'm hoping will bring a bit of traffic to the blog.

It's a type of 'earn and learn' offering to encourage people to take a look around the site. It's not really designed to turn a profit (yet!).

What ads would you recommend? And shortlinks? Any advice would be appreciated!

As we've been writing about faucets for a while now at freecoyn, we thought we'd launch our own faucet as an experiment.

We'd welcome all your thoughts/suggestions/offers of help!

Take a look - http://freecoyn.com/free-bitcoin-faucet/

At the moment the reward is low but we'll raise this once we're properly up-and-running.

Enjoy!
