I too am new to Cryptocurrency and Mining. Currently on a Block Erupter Blade setup and will upgrade to Black Arrow Prospero X-1s in March.
For me this feels like half hobby/half investment opportunity. Very excited to be a part of this growing community, and hope for much profit and success to everyone in the New Year.

Hey everyone
My fiance got me into this whole bitcoin thing. He's really into the financial crisis and getting your money in other mediums and such.
Anyway, we purchased a BFL baby jalapeno (5GHs) box recently and love it!
Hoping to upgrade to something more substantial but it seems like it's a huge waiting game and lots of scammers out there.
Also, I frequent freenode irc channels as valheru7 so feel free to say hi sometime.
