Check how much is the capacity of your device that's connected to it. If it's not that much, one of the threat is someone finds a way to hack it and just connects on it freely. Otherwise, the other threat is what vod said.

If you can have another connection for your own usage, IMHO, that's much better.

Here in my country there is a Coin for Wifi meaning they only need to drop at least  10 cents
to access the wife for few hours already but like what Vod said the problem here is if  users will download
child porn or something like this.
maybe try to consider your safety first because this will be a threat not only to your wallets
but also to your character.

I didn't analyze in detail how you are making this internet available.
But I ask: can they access directly to your main router? Or do they access it via a secondary router connected to the main one?

If it's the first option, I recommend you get a second router and configure it for this sharing.

If you are already using the second option, I recommend that you configure a VPN service directly on the router. Then on the main router, you channel the connection from the secondary router only to the Internet, blocking access to your "private network" which is on the main router. For example, there are routers that allow you to create "two networks", making one work in isolation from the other.

This type of configuration varies from router to router, so you should try to check which configuration will be best for yours.
Search by VLAN (Virtual Local Area Network) and perhaps you will find the information you need to keep your main connection protected.

I don't understand how it works sir and if I can ask of course I want to be able to control it sir, are you used to doing this? for me this is a new thing. I am confused about where to do it because I have no basic cyber security education or experienced people in this security field. If I can learn independently here according to certain steps, of course I can save time and don't need to spend extra money to attend a bootcamp whose roundown is an online course and not directly to the core of the topic I want, so it's an additional burden for me.
Every wifi routers/modem have their admin access, you can see it everything there and do stuff or anything. Some malicious admins do something different, of course with some different tools i'm not going to mention. Accessing the admin access/page is something hidden in default, but you can try Google your specific unit and follows what they are trying to do.

If you are the only one who have the admin access of your wifi, you have the ability to use the reverse card on what you are thinking. It's just like the advisories people are hearing to not to connect or use public wifi because the admin can access the connected users' device as well as malwares.

Threat to your devices is only one thing to worry about.   What if someone uses your connection to download child porn, or send emails in a romance scam?

You are right, negative things today can be accessed by anyone and anywhere with an internet connection because they can stay in a quiet place and alone, even in my country there is a blocking feature by the government which is the provider of internet surveillance (Kominfo) unfortunately only websites, because if you access like twitter it is very free and can download 18+ videos like files in general, without passing web testing, the breadth of twitter is almost unlimited for porn content. Look, what I'm saying is that the internet is just fuel but what it's used for should be up to each individual to take responsibility for what they do. No matter how fixed it is, for me there is a gap in service providers including social media in any form of graphics (photos, videos, live cameras) that let the content of desawa roam even though the content is indeed normal for those who are old enough, but there is no benefit if it is still free and exists for entertainment reasons.

I just realized, I'm a little bothered by many devices (ip) randomly connecting but I've already installed it, lol. Is this a threat to my devices?

I just realized, I'm a little bothered by many devices (ip) randomly connecting but I've already installed it, lol. Is this a threat to my devices? Especially like the cryptocurrency wallet and social media data that I have to work on airdrops, I think if I buy another internet source it will increase my monthly burden and will not be used completely, just because I want to avoid being mixed with public ip. I want to anticipate remote entry from pranksters or malware.

I have bought and assembled a wi-fi hotspot topology with vouchers, maybe some of my experiments. here are my steps => https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.63508417 The need for the internet made me think that if I could make money for extras, I saw an opportunity for children who play games.
Let me take a look at this, maybe i can use in the future. But could you do it in english-related boards?

I can't imagine that bad thing, and I think there is still time to learn about firewalls to protect myself especially laptops, currently I use mozzila firefox for bitcointalk access, while google chrome for airdrop and separate one google chrome profile for trial and error. I think the desire to stay safe is the main thing because laptops, connections and fluidity are like space and very important to me, like a portable office Cheesy .

What do you think is easiest, or what do you do most often?
