https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/translations-of-some-of-the-best-posts-on-the-local-language-boards-4034912I've read a lot of comments about the difficulties that non-English speakers have in gaining merits, so I'm starting this thread to give a few of them a chance to pick up some merits from posts they have made on their local language boards. In order to be considered, the post will need to have a sponsoring translator, and he will need to be a full member to post in this thread. Both the original post and the sponsoring post must comply with ALL of the rules in the sticky referring to posts in the Ivory Tower. The only exception is the rank requirement for the local language poster. This offer is open to all ranks, but, of course the sponsoring poster will need to be a full member to post here.
Note that posts in the Ivory Tower must be made in good English, and should not contain images or heavy formatting. Don't quote the foreign language post, but do include a link at the start of your post. You should also include the name of the OP, so that in the event that I decide the post is merit worthy, then I can award merit. Topics should be related to Bitcoin, or the use of crypto-currencies in global or national economies. They should also be unique, and not just personal interpretations of posts that can be found on the English language boards.
I'm going to start this off with a thread starting post from the Spanish board. I chose it because it had already been awarded a merit. I'm not a Spanish speaker, so I've used Google translate for tyhis example - don't do this! Please translate the post into understandable English, and not Google speak.
