They probably do have bad support, I've used paypal to buy a lot of gigs through fiverr in the past and there is no reason for them to turn into a scam. The staff behind the scenes will naturally be more comfortable with resolving straight forward paypal transactions but a lot of them might not have the technical abilities to verify a bitcoin transaction. 72 hours is a long time though and it would definitely be frustrating to receive no reply.
Maybe they only have bad support. I used fiverr many times without problems. I earn more than $3500 in fiverr before.
I've ordered over $1000 worth of gigs on Fiverr and I think it's ridiculous to immediately label them a scam site.
This kind of panicky reactions is so useless, it's the same as calling Amazon a scam site because their customer service takes some time.
This is a huge business and really a waste of time to post this thread.

Ask for manager or someone who has more knowledge about bitcoin payments. I find a lot of these larger companies these days accepting Bitcoin but don't have a properly or fully trained staff to be able to handle such issues with Bitcoin when it comes to it.
I've hired people myself for work on Fiverr so I don't think of it as a scam site. There must have been some issue with payment because of Bitcoin. I would let support figure it out. They don't have a phone number so can't call but maybe another customer support request can get you some attention.
Like most sites thats usually a normal time frame for customer support.
Unless its mentioned otherwise something else, but I would try to give it 1 more day?
I dont think fiverr would be scamming people if they make a ton of % each time based on all their fiverr gigs they have.

Not my lucky day, I order one gig on fiverr worth $12 i used bitcoin to complete an order
but after depositing i was redirected to their home page ..
I've check it but my order and my deposited funds are not there..
I've sent ticket to support to confirmed my payment
but all I got was"Please remain patient . We will update you as soon as we get update. Thanks for your patience"
It's been 72 hours and they have not resolve my case ..
I think this was automated they are not really meant to solve my case..
