Use the picture dogie gave you. Find what pins on the motherboard end of the 24-pin cable correspond to the one green wire and any of the black wires. Trace them back to their pins on the PSU's modular socket. Stick a wire between those pins. Your PSU should turn on.

Or leave the 24-pin cable in and stick a wire between the pins on that end. Your PSU should turn on.

@dogie, do I need to plug in the 24 pin connector at all ? Since its already separated from the PSU ?

RM's are all black so you'll need the below pinout. Green to any black.

Unless it's got a means of turning itself on, you'll either need to connect the 24-pin so you can jumper 14 (usually green) to ground to kick it on, or find which pins are those on the PSUs' 24-pin socket and jumper there.

Yep. I put the jumper directly on the PSU to avoid having that thick ass wire around for nothing. Easy to do if your wires are coloured. Just look for which pin connects to the green wire, and short it to any pin that connects to a black wire.
