I have seen a lot of newbies (not only newbies sometimes experienced forum members too) want to create a red flag but instead they end up creating the flag type one which only be shown to guests/newbies and under the scammers profile we only see a hash tag.
If I am not wrong then:
A user can not create a flag for another user for a certain amount of time once they create any kind of flag for that same user.
So, according to this algorithm/rule, when a mistake occurs then there are no way to correct it by creating another flag for the same user by the same victim. If this is for flag type two and three then no one else also can not create the red flag.
Example here:
User
konungbarber has a
scam accusation against user
p2pb2b.io. After reading the topic I
suggested them to create a red flag (either type two or three). When they were creating the flag I think they were not sure which to chose and ended up creating the flag type one. It's clear from the PM they sent me.
Hello.
Thank you for your support!
I've created "red flag" for p2pb2b, but put it as "Due to various concrete red flags, I believe that anyone dealing with this user has a high risk of losing money. (This flag will only be shown to guests/newbies.)".
Should I delete it and create new one with type "This user violated a casual or implied agreement with me, resulting in damages." or "This user violated a written contract with me, resulting in damages."?
Now as you can see, they can not correct the flag also no one else (suppose I want to create the red flag on behalf of konungbarber) can create a red flag unless they are direct victim.
Would not it be better to let the user to modify a flag type if they make a mistake? In this example p2pb2b.io really needs a red flag.
