I flashed an RX580 with a new bios and now my system won't post with that GPU plugged in. Unplugged, works great.

I can't flash it back to stock without booting first. Is it worth trying to hot-swap it in once the computer boots without it plugged in?

I have an ASUS b250 mining expert.

Delete AMD driver with DDU and plug the card in a second pcie and a working card in the first slot. i think you can now boot and flash it back to original bios.

The trick with the paperclip will always work.

Most RX cards don't have dual bios, the only one I think is Sapphire.

What you can do is basically you need to short 2 pins using like a paperclip and get it into some debug mode and you can flash it back in DOS and get it up and running. I looked on Youtube and looks like,

Should do the trick. Keep in mind you will need another working GPU or onboard GPU to do this, if your motherboard doesn't have onboard video and you only got 1 GPU, then you will need to borrow a GPU from someone.

Hello,

Does your card have dual bios switch?

If not try to set your bios to use iGPU only and connect HDMI to the motherboard instead of GPU.

Good luck!
