Reading the article has me thinking how glad I am to keep a minimum in the bank. My CIBC/Visa debit card is an EMV card so this strikes home.

Now I want to only carry it when absolutely necessary and otherwise leave it securely in a safe.

Cash is not only far more convenient and cheaper than credit or debit cards, it's also far more secure.

Screw the worthless banks.
