Surely Man City is the favourite here but are the odds realistic? For me, 1.30 is too low to take the risk. United is capable to score and it would be really interesting if they score first. It seems that United is playing better against top-half of the table teams (Win against Chelsea, tie against Liverpool, Win against Tottenham) because such opponents play more openly and there are more opportunities for counter attacks.

I hope someone listened to me and skipped this "public bet" on Man City. I didn't expect United to win to be fair, but I did say that betting on City with such low odds is not smart. United scored first, although from a penalty, but this gave them huge moral lift. They have very good stats on games when they score first and they proved again that they can defend the lead.
I hope you learned something from this game.
Going for a straight win foreal either team in a match like this is a very risky affair,  it's always good to go for goals in games such as this one and most of the 2 or 3 goals are scored as a result. Manchester United were astounding with their counter attacking play yesterday with their forwards. They were very fast and the City defenders couldn't catch up.

I was stuck in this match. I thought the game would be superior to Manchester City, even possession of the ball in my opinion is more to Man City, but the goal turned things around to be 2-1. ( I'm upset )
There is no luck here my bet disappears

I also believe more in Manchester City if in terms of players I believe Manchester United also loses seeing performance like this, playing at home statistics are also very different so Man United is able to score but will not win because the city will be able to subvert more past,
My prediction is 1-0 for Manchester City.

Manchester United vs Manchester City will be a very important game for both these sides, and I’m expecting Manchester City to attack and Manchester United to defend and then try and score on the counter. However I’m not expecting Manchester United to beat City, because City has far superior players in comparison to United. Though Ole has bought himself a lifeline by beating Tottenham, but if City thrash United by a huge margin then Manutd fans will call for his sacking.

This match can't be passed right I have to watch it on tv,

From the statistics are very much different but Manchester City should not underestimate Man United I believe in this match we will attack each other to score goals, but I predict in this match with a score of 2-1 could be the United Man beat City or vice versa. Let's just watch.

Quite an excellent analysis we shouldn't underrate Man Utd at this point they can spring a surprise today despite the fact that they are playing away just as many soccer pundits had written them off against Tottenham I am also well predicting that the match can be won by any of the two teams Man city defense had not been too strong i.e very porous this season judging by the way their defense line collapsed against Liverpool really shows that they have a lot of work to do to curtail in form Marcus Rashford today. prediction 2-1 0r 1-2

Of course ManU would be no match to City on this game. It would have been difficult to stop ManCity on it's homeground even on previous league years and this time ManU are in one of the poorest performing year. City has been performing consistent and would not want to miss this point.

I’ve seen much bigger shocks than United beating City would be. City will win this though, surely. They beat Burnley midweek so seem to be back in form. I actually think City will win this quite comfortably. De Bruyne is flying atm, City will have too much.

Man City will be under more pressure to win the match, and there quite a possibility that Man Utd may get some points because of City's inconsistency.

Imo Rashford will be the major threat for Man City, if he can be kept silent in match then Man Utd will most probably be short of attacking ideas.

This is a pressure game, Manchester United will be struggling. Both team will be trying there level best to win this match.

I am surprised that Man U was able to beat Tottenham but I don't think they will be able to upset Manchester City. But a derby is still a derby and I don't think Man U will be humiliated against their rivals so a 2:1 final result seems reasonable to me.
I bet it, Fergie was involved in the game plan against spurs, it was not a game with Spur but Mourinho, They want to prove it wasnt a mistake to lay him off but am sure they wont win the next game with Tottenham. I just hope its not at any final. Mourinho is good at breaking records and no manager can go sleep when his facing mourinho

Man Utd had a good win against Spurs but tbh I can’t see anything except a win for City here. They’re at home, they’re better in pretty much every single department on pitch so for me -

Man City 2-0 Man Utd

Manchester City VS Manchester United

Kickoff:  17:30 GMT, Dec. 7th, 2019

The Premier League tie at Etihad Stadium on Saturday sees hosts Manchester City go into battle with opponents Manchester United.

It seems to us that Manchester United will do well to be scoring even one goal against Manchester City team who should be able to get the goals that they need to set up a big win here.

Manchester United got a massive lift in confidence from defeating Tottenham and their former manager on Wednesday, but even that is not going to be a major factor here, you have to think City have had a dip in form or two recently, and they may or may not be capable of winning the title any longer, but you can't expect them to roll over and let the Red Devils come to their own patch and win. It just won't happen, and the Citizens will excel as they go to a win.

Looking at the betting prices for the match in the 90 minute result market, putting your money on Manchester City is best priced at 1.324, a bet on the game finishing all-square is 5.65 and betting on victory for Manchester United gets you 10.18.

Coming into this meeting, Manchester United haven't won away from home in the past 2 matches in the league.

The previous league clash featuring these clubs was Premier League match day 31 on 24/04/2019 which ended up with the score at Manchester United 0-2 Manchester City. On that day, Manchester United managed 36% possession and 12 attempts on goal with 1 of them on target. For their opponents, Manchester City had 8 attempts at goal with 5 on target. Bernardo Silva (54') and Leroy Sané (66') scored.

Possible result: 2-1 or 3-1, how do you think?
