I'm very surprised with the news that Cancelo is joining Bayern Munich on loan. Because there is no meaning in Manchester City to let one of their crucial players go so easily. I know that they have Sergio Gomez as an alternative left-back but it is still not a sensible move. Cancelo has been one of the key players in defense. He has been more like a offensive back actually and he has scored lovely goals in addition to his contribution with his passes. This is going to be a very favourable deal for Bayern Munich and they have an option to buy him also.
His contribution for Manchester City in the last 4 season is very vital that he has help this team to gets several trophies but rumour mention Joao Cancelo relationship with Guardiola it got worse and they were never greeted each other again in the last 2 months it because Cancelo feel his vision doesn't same again with Guardiola moreover in the last 3 matches Guardiola didn't played him as starting line up and against Arsenal too on FA cup
This transfer happened because Cancelo personally asking to Manchester City to release him to other club and they don't have much time to find Cancelo replacement because winter transfer window will be closed tomorrow but this shouldn't be a problem for Manchester City because they didn't lack of players on left back position and currently they have Nathan Ake and Serge Gomez
It's terrible that Joao Cancelo and Pep Guardiola seem to have grown apart, since Cancelo has been an integral part of Manchester City's success over the last several seasons. City, however, has continued to be successful, as seen by their trophy case.
Manchester City will have to move swiftly to replace Cancelo or make do with the players they currently have on hand, as the winter transfer window ends tomorrow. Luckily, they have a few choices at left-back, including Nathan Ake and Serge Gomez. Finding a suitable replacement for him won't be simple, but remember that change is sometimes for the better. It's a chance for the team's supporting cast to step up, which might lead to the rise of new stars.
Clubs often face challenges when trying to replace star players during the transfer season. While a transfer window may seem like a quick fix, teams must carefully consider their alternatives to find a player who will complement their existing roster and help the club go forward. The club's budget would likely be affected significantly by any new addition, thus financial considerations must be made.
