A belated result:
Fiorentina 1-2 West Ham
West Ham United won their first major trophy after a 43 year wait and they won it in the 90th minute with their second goal of the game. Congratulations to them.
Throughout his tenure their manager David Moyes showed some of the class that made Manchester United select him as a successor to Ferguson. That job ultimately was too big for him but at West Ham United he found relative success and moderate consistency. This season was tough for them in the Premier League but they went all-out to win the Europa Conference League and Moyes played a huge part in that success by managing the team.

After the game Mourinho was verbally abusing the referee in the car park, it was the first European final Mourinho had lost as a manager and it was a tough game. Roma had enough chances to win and probably should have but Sevilla had many chances in the second half to put the game away yet failed.
As always with penalties there can never be certainty the best or better team win, in this case the jury is out about who deserved to win over 90 minutes or extra-time but Sevilla are Europa League champions again and congratulations to them.
